This is probably Slayer's most 'scary' song, if you could call it that. All of this kind of metal should strive to be horrifying, however, in some ways, this is actually more scary than death metal. Certain death metal bands like Obituary and Autopsy can create a very horror movie like atmosphere at times, but this is perhaps more scary in a different kind of way. And Tom Araya has a great voice, he puts a load of feeling into it which makes it seem more real, and thus more scary.
