Am I able to wash my hair and put oil in it everyday, if im free forming? I was doing that a while back but my hair was drastically shrinking and becoming very stiff so I stopped. Like most of the ppl on here, sister, I have to agree you do favor Lauren Hill!!! I showed my mother your video, her locs are similar to yours, and all she kept saying was how pretty your locs were! Seeing your locs and my mom's makes me now wish I had did mine bigger, but I refuse 2 cut this set. This is my 3rd and final set. But yours are gorgeous!!! Great video!

I am now in my 11th year and my locks are WAY long and im ready to start anew, but freeform from the beginning this time (i stopped twisting like 5 years ago). Oh Lordy...you sound so much like me. I completely connected to everything you said. Lauryn Hill was my girl too. I loved that look and I think I succeeded, but they still have yet to loc. I mean they're meshed, but not loced. I didn't start off like you did, I started out with about 110 twists, that turned into 80 something along the way. You're hair is amazing. Can I ask you? What's your workout regime and diet? You're figure is gorgeous.
yep im gona go to sum salon here in town. Then maintain them myself after a while. Im excited to start hopefully i will post sum vids. And that is so awesome u was able to use the aloe plant. Im gona have to pick me one up at publix :-)
u can add in a hot oil treatment if u want to condition ur hair and also if u dont wana use a scarf cus of restriction u can pik up a satin/silk pillow case at walmart, target or sallys. But i think ur regimen is simple and perfect. Hell ur hair looks beautiful thus far lol!! u got it down pact!

When u took that wrap off my jaw dropped...LOL. You have beautiful hair!!!!! I'm 6 months in and I've decided to free form. I work out now so I don't want to waste money going to my loctiain when it's not gonna be perfect anyway. I hope to have mine pretty thinck by the end of this year. I had buildup so now the only things I put in my hair is shampoo and oils and I"m fine with that.
