Yes, this anime has been released in the U.S. sorta... The english version is intentionally screwed up and emphasizes more mature comedy than actual horror (they apparently had the green light to do this from the Japanese creators).

Some major changes nade in the dub include Leo being Jewish, Momoko being a born-again Christian, Keichirou being a retard, and Christan Slater not have a career (don't ask).

generaly its about exercising ghosts but its kinda funnyly scary

so the story is kinda like this

Satsuski and her bro moves to the new city but their cat kaya went into the old school building and they were chased by ghosts and stuff like that.

then they exercised the ghost with a diary that Satsuki's dead mother left behind but it somehow got sealed into their cat.

the reason is already told but you probaly want to find that out so yeah.
