Hey man!, i'm getting that same guitar tomorrow and by the moment that's the best i can afford... i'm still asking myself how good will it sound with distortion. because this guy who is selling it to me changed the original pickups with 2 hambuckers from Tonerider (AC2) ...

I had a viper,, the thing was headstock heavy for some reason.. I got rid of it along with the wayne static LTD and bought two USA ESP's off a buddy.

I got the schecter C-1 + and it's pretty nice. schecters are more versatile than LTD's in my opinion,(you can play all styles of music with them because they sound great all around) but you can shred pretty hard on both. both great for metal, I played one of these and it ruled, but I like my schecter too.

I prefer any ESP LTD over almost any guitar, they fit me like a glove and sound awesome. But that's just me

@easycheese19 They are the same company. I feel like LTD's are way lighter than Schecters but thats just a personal preference. I enjoy how slim the necks are on LTD's as well and the action is usually insanely low on them.
