Thank you thank you thank you!!! I do this in my hair, I do 16 of them vertically from begone my bangs to a part behind my ears... I'm white as can be, haha, but my hair is thick and curly, and slightly coarse. This is the first video that showed me how to do it right! Mine still look okay when they're loose but much better when they're tight!
definitely not the typical 'waste of life' expert village video. THANK YOU! I Learned. I hope expert village keeps outsourcing and gets the heck out of those nonsense studio vids
@shast96 what do you mean normal hair? The model in the video has normal hair there were no extensions added. Need more information in order to answer your question.
Can you tell me how to do an interlocking braid? For example, I have dreadlocks, and have a lot of new growth, and want to just take the new growth and braid it up under the lock itself. Btw, that's some seriously effortless great braiding! Haha make it seem like it's nothing!
I love your twist. Do you know of anyone in Georgia that can twist this well? micdarius@aol.com I want to get my hair done but don't have time to do it myself. Thank you
That is a very well done tutorial. And I love that you have explained so many of the things that people get wrong when attempting this. Especially the part about staying close to the scalp! A++ 5 stars and 2 thumbs up! I will refer others to this vid.
And belive it or not, seeing videos like this makesme happy, cause thats literaly how i learned (by myself) how to maintain my hair. Keep posting and keep up the awsome work!!!
Black is Beautiful. Im not black im actually hispanic. Im light Skined but with very course hair (like most black people) To make matters worse,im theonly one in my family to come out with this "type" of hair so no one knew what to do or how to handle my hair. I've always had problems with it,i soon began to hate my hair, but as i grew older i learned to love it.
I guess it helps to know how to cornrow hair to do a proper two-strand flat twist because I can never get mine to look right but I rock them anyway like they're professionally done. LOL!
black women may be divas.....but what about masters of the art of saving hair. They are doing all this weaving, braiding and dreadlocks, and women are losing hair and going bald. especially with bonding glue. And most of them don't even use the Take Down remover system techniques.
@hairstyleremovers If their hair is done properly, then they aren't losing hair. I haven't lost any hair while keeping my hair braided and "weaved up" The only hair loss that I have had is the normal hair shedding. And as far as using the bonding glue, there are ways to slick the hair down so that the glue does not pull the hair out. Now, I'm not speaking for every female that gets their hair done in these ways, but a good amount of woman will agree. and a good amount may disagree. Just my POV
I paused this video to try flat twisting one last time and I can't believe I actually got it on the second try. Thanks so much for this great tutorial! I will keep at it until it's perfection. I thought that I would never be able to do this on my own.
thanks for this i recently learned how to do this on my own. i love the way it looks! i haven't actually mastered the cornrow but now that i can do the flat twist i know i can do it!!! :)
is just super, it's the best video for which the truth can be learned !! I watched a lot but this video is one of the best! great thanks! would like more video for those who want to learn braiding, such as I!
@CerebralMadness omg i totally agree. i am a black woman (well, 19, more like a black teen) and I suck at cornrowing, and even parting my hair evenly to do cornrows. i have no patience for those kinds of things but this style looks pretty easy. you should see the pictures on the blog braidsbeadsbeyond (google it), she is amazingly creative.
