He's a magnificent composer. I understand Ridley Scott originally selected him as composer to several of his movies (I guess the producers felt otherwise - too bad). Listen to the composition from "Sen Nen No Koi" which is based on "Tale of Genji." It too is composed by Tomita.

I love Genji Monogatari so much !!

I read through the whole story by some sinple outlines and manga when I was a elementary school student ，and read some chapters in the original in high school class .

Well, it seems I'm the first one to visit your upload. Thank you very much for it. I have been studying Genji Monogatari for a while, as well as the Heian Era. I'm also agreeably surprised Mr. Tomita wrote this kind of music. Too bad it's difficult for me to purchase the symphony. Very nice, thank you, arigatou gozaimashita. Cheers!
