OMG! mama you was so awesome & brave I to had a Laproscopic Surgery My cyst was removed & they also found two more growing on my right side they got rid of that one too. I was searching on line for videos & things to help me understand more it was my first surgery ever I was so scared but I had to be strong my mom was just crying praying. All went well thank you so much it gave me such a clear view of everything you ROCK! Hope you feeling better = )
Wow I liked your post. I was looking for this type of procedure for a year and refused not to have surgery. I have the same problem too! even I asked my doc but didn't know nothing about any video or any info. she just said two cut from both right and left one on your belley..... that didn't help. Now I am gonna schedule for surgery. Have you gotten pregnant yet? what is the chance of having a baby? thank you again you posted this to help all of us suffering from this ugly foriegn body.
This was very interesting and I enjoyed watching all of it.
I have to have laparoscopy to take out a large ovarian cyst in two weeks. Not looking forward to it either. The amount of pain you said you went through scares me... but the fact that those scars are almost completey gone is really great!
I love the whole ovary missing its buddy thing and the comic you made of it putting up posters. LOL.
@BLAKPEARL69 continued.... I never had a weight problem before but I was putting on pounds. Normally I was between 145 and 155 I wasn't tiny but I was never considered over weight. I was about 175 before my surgery. After my recovery, my natural high metabolism came back and the pounds melted off. No diet shit, no counting carbs, my body just leveled itself out I guess.
@BLAKPEARL69 yes I did lose weight after the surgery. Before I had it removed, I could lay flat on my back and see the tumor bumping out on my lower left belly. The weight and bump being removed was a great feeling to start and I was having trouble with my weight a bit before the surgery and never knew why.
well i had my surgery today and omg, a few people told me it would not hurt, well the f*c(ing lied!!!!! they cut me 4 times, found cysts on both ovaries and a fibroid tumor in my uterus. but i really thank you for sharing this, i gave me insight to how much pain i would be in.
thank you soooo much for sharing this. i have to have the same thing done on june 3rd and i have to have a d & c on top of everything else. i was wondering exactly what they were going to do to me and know i know. thank you for this and cool show!
OMG you are so funny! Researching this stuff cuz I just got my cyst confirmed by ultrasound. You do have a potty mouth, good thing I'm an adult, an all. LOL
Hey Danni I watched this video and was freaked the hell out for a month - finally had my surgery yesterday and when I woke up the pain was unbearable. They gave me a ton of happy injection juice and then sent me home with a few days worth of pain meds that seem to be working but damn it I do not want to cough or clear my throat either! Glad you are feeling better.
Very Very good documentation of the procedure and a good honest post-op....no paid actors going "see it doesn't hurt". Thanks for sharing and being so honest and open about how you felt. This helps a lot of women, myself included..Kudos :)
This was a really good documentary! It was very helpful to see a regular couple and family go thru a procedure that is spoken of very dismissively by the medical establishment. I wish there was more honesty about what to expect. My arthroscopic knee surgery was presented as a minor procedure that I could heal from in 2 days. No such luck. And permanant damage resulted from trying to push it too hard too soon. Thanks for making this!
Seeing your video helped me to b strong about this shit. Im having more test done 2morrow to c if its cancer or if they take the all of my uterus. IM SO SCARED.
this is freaking me out. i have what i think is a cyst the size of a canteloupe on my left side. its causing a crapload of pain and im going to the doctor on monday to get it checked out. most people say that cysts should go away by three months, and shouldn't be noticable. mine is still here, after about four. im afraid ill have to get surgery. blahh.
regular cysts come and go but sometimes they just keep growing... like mine did. the surgery is not that big of a deal, you will be sore as fuck for about 2 or 3 days but you will be glad you had it done.
This was made very recently, the part where she says its been a month and she's feeling better, was recorded a couple weeks ago. She's doing ok now for the most part.
thanks for your awesome videos....i needed to see some stuff before they remove my stuff
