hi!! i am in some sort of a problem here... if u could help me out of this, i would truely appretiate it..
well i have a sonar 8.5 LE and i cannot open my virtual drum... every time i go and press INSERT>SOFT SYNTHS> it just shows PSYN II and DROP ZONE... there is no session drummer any where else out there.... could u please tell me what do i have to do in order to get that??? and do i have to buy this SD or what???
I'm wondering if it's working well with a V-Drum. So far no many drums plugins does that. There's always something missing like the dual trigger cymbals or the chokes on the cymbals. From what I know only Superior Drummer 2.0 handles the cymbals choke. Would be great if there was some presets you can load according to what drum brain you have.
Drumkit From Hell sounds better, and has WAY more samples to work with - and it's especially awesome because the samples were recorded by Tomas Haake of Meshuggah.
Can I import midi file with drums (for example exported from guitar pro), open it with this program and play the midi as the "real" drums? (Sorry for my English)
Can you place the files from SD2 into this so I can use just one interface I can't seem to get an answer on the forums I have SD2 and 3 in my instrument list?
Hey I get to where I can load the SD 3, yet when I push "Play" nothing happens. When I hit individual drums or cymbals .............. no sound. What do I need to do to fix this? Also, I have loaded other synths and have them working fine. Thanks.
You can open up Session Drummer as a synth, set your midi track output to SD, drag and drop beat patterns from SD into the midi track but you cannot 'record' from SD without using a MIDI keyboard or device to trigger the sounds...
I know it has a lot of features, but I'd like to be able to tap on the drums with my mouse and record those directly into the track. I know it seems limited, but sometimes I don't want to hook up a keyboard. And I can make a pretty good rhythm with my mouse. Then I could maybe even quantize it a bit and keep it. So can session drummer generate midi and record it when you tap on the drums?
I brought Sonar 8.0 producer about half year ago and this version got the exact same stuff. The only major difference is a cooler interface. And I have addictive drums and battery so I will not use Session Drummer anyway.
The Sonar DAW (esp. Sonar 8.5) looks really cool but in all its versions there are so few videos/demos/tutorials on it. Since the release of 8.5, I've checked at least once per day on Youtube & google for new videos: only this official one & two others posted by users.
can I configure Session Drummer 3 to use it in Mixcraft 5 and If so how do I do it?

I can honestly say Session Drummer is awesome. the samples are excellent, and i haven't found a better program.

What's better in SD3 than in SD2? I have SD2, and don't see a reason for upgrade...

I'd LOVE to know if the kits and instruments are compatible with Drumagog?!

is it compatable with session drummer two files..?
squidskunk 2 years ago
All the content that was originally featured in SD2 is included in SD3 but any expansion packs are not immediately compatible
