First saw Sabbath on the Sabotage tour with KISS opening in '75 . I tend to prefer original lineups myself but you have to give cred to the Dio led Sabbath stuff Heaven and Hell, Mob Rules, Dehumanizer all great albums on their own . And then there's Heaven and Hell the band . R.I.P. Ronnie ! See you at the 2012 Black Sabbath rereunion y'all

Black Sabbath is not fucking Black Sabbath unless it has Bill Ward and Ozzy Fucking Osbourne. I'm sure Dio was a great artist n'at but no one (including him) deserves to be considered a member of Sabbath or perform those songs under the name Black sabbath unless it's the original line up. @TheRailroadRadio Funny how u can think that way. Tonny and Gezzer where the ones who founded Sabbath then ozzy was hired. Ozzy did not write none of the Sabbath hits such as Paranoid, Iron man, war pigs and many more, it was Geezer butler. Tonny created the sound of sabbath by his choped finger. How can u be so stupid to give credit to ozzy and bill? beside Bill was part of the Dio sabbath heaven and hell era. u can talk all the shit u want, but u cant change history.. Dio was also sabbath!

@MetalkingDio How fucking simple are you? Are you just another Dio dick rider? Ozz and Geezer left their band the Rare Breed and ended up meeting Bill and Tony who were already wanting to make music. Some time went by and they originally formed the Polka Tulk Blues Band which was short lived then they changed the name to Earth (Which was really only a temp name). Some time passes and Geezer gets the knowledge that his brother saw the film Black Sabbath and he just loved the name.

@lovebird164 .. i rather concentrate on the musical aspect of a band than on crazy stuff done on stage. Ozzy is ozzy cuz of that, he is a show man and a metal icon, the mad man of metal. Dio is completly the oposite, more musical more profecional kind of thing. two completly diffrent styles. Ozzy was awesome back in the days with his solo band, but in black sabbath all he realy did was clap and clap and clap his hands like a seal waiting to catch a fish lmao.

@MetalkingDio Ok, so then the tips of Tony's fingers were cut off due to his incident at work, so he had to use lighter strings and reduced string tension which gave it that unique sound. Ok now lets go back to Geezer. Geezer is an AMAZING lyricist. Bill, well Bill brings fucking images through his drumming. and OZZ....Ozz created the melodies, and Ozz brought his unique howl of a voice to the band. All of those elements created the REAL and ONLY Black Sabbath.
