wow..80's lovers. most of the music that has come out since the 60's and 70's influenced over 90% of all subsequent music. this is not an opinion, it is fact
To be honest I didn't think much of this band at the time but now I'm older and wiser and they sound unbelievably fantastic !!! I like both the U.S & UK versions of this song. I think all past and present members of this band should team up with Rick Astley and write a new song. It wouldn't be half bad. Why not give it a go guys !!!!!
@imsobeatiful The UK version was shot in colour and I think it had to do with a painter's obsession over a model. This version is more about love gone wrong.
I will never figure out why everyone can't just enjoy the music and skip all the smartass remarks. YouTube is great and would be greater if it weren't for all the too-tightly-wrapped who take offense at anything and everything. Grow the fuck up! Or stay off the Tube!
@GreatTasteInMusic No shit sherlock. I didn't say that they were from the 80's, I said they helped kill 80's rock. Their style of goody goody soft rock started in the early 90's, that was the beginning of the end for 80's rock & they were a wanna-be rock band. If they were so great where the fuck are they now? Darius is trying 2 b country singer. Listen to Hootie's 1st album from 93 and listen to Bon Jovi's album from 92 (Keep the Faith). There is a difference & notice Bon Jovi is still around!
@steadybeater Shit, guitar electric bass they both have strings to pluck and strum. Get over yourself with your such keen observations. I had a brother that could play acoustic, regular electric and electric bass.
@steadybeater So he knew his giutars and how to play them. Not everyone knows different intsruments and music. My brother played by ear and was tone deaf. If you notice I say was because he passed away in 2006 at the age of 57. To be honest I wanted to learn how to play but he left me too soon.
The Boggie Tuber, I can tell you I really didn't listen to this type of music back then, but this and many songs produced in the 80's is far far better then what we hear today. No matter what type of music it is, quality is quality, you can't get around it. Music today lacks quality, sorry.
@TheBoogieTuber Dude, every one that was born in a different decade will say that the one they grew up in was the best. in about 5 to 6 years everyone that grew up in the 2000's will say that was the best decade ever!! it's all relative man.
Johnny Hates Jazz sold millions of albums worldwide, they only had two hit albums but they sold in millions of albums, they toured a few countries around the world, they are real music artists that make real music, they have great singing voices, they are great concert performers, this song is one of the greatest songs in music history,it was a top 5 hit here in the United States and a number one song in many countries around the world, this song was a big hit on MTV & VH1,great song, the best
@2010aurnob 70's, late 60's had the best music they had great rock n roll & great motown songs as well. The 80's was good but does not compare with those decades
@2010aurnob Yes no doubt about it. Almost all the bands were real artists, they do all their stuff, write, music, arrangements, playing live and above all, superb music.
pues no mames que pendejadas preguntas....... donativos para la maquina del tiempo.... ja ja ......mejor fuma mota y regresate a la puta prehistoria a ver donosaurios wey.........
