I just love that Bulldog nose or Beluga whale snout of the IS-F. It's great looking. The germans cars are struggling in the' good looks' department. I think Lexus got the look almost right. The only problem is when the replacement comes along - it will be so hard for Lexus to outdo this design. This IS-F is just plain magnificent!

M3 started it, Lexus finshed, so farr...Japanese knows how to make luxury cars. This ISF interior is beautiful, its instrument gauges are high tech. M3 and 3 series interior is just BLAH.

Face the fact that germany used to build the best, but now Japan is coming up. BMW and Audi have been around for awhile. They have a rep for building fast cars. Then Lexus comes along and on their first entry into the sport sedan market they equally match the germans on the FIRST try, just wait to see the second gen!!!!

I agree that Japan can make good cars. I like the GTR, the EVO, STI etc. But not this Lexus, it just seems so artificial to me. I like German cars because of the solidity and other things. I don't stare at figures to compare vehicles. Oh, and before trying to accuse me of being some philistine who doesn't like Asian things or something, I am asian lol (you haven't accused me of anything, its just ended up that way in debates of japanese cars before with me).

This is the way I see it. German manufactures build great chassis and design nice looking cars, but when it comes to comfort and engine reliability the japanese take the cake. It really is up to preference, if you would rather have a great handling and good looking car buy a german car. If you want Luxury and reliability buy a Lexus.

Nice effort for a granny Lexus especially with a slushbox. M3 still trounced it in every comparison test (Road and Track, Motor Trend, Car and Driver, Edmunds, Auto Express and list goes on). Again, nice first effort for Lexus, but M3 is still the undisputed king!

No. The whole point of advertising is to make the consumer want that company's product. This commercial does not even convey any sense of emotion or excitement. The commercial is plain boring and lackluster.
