I lived on Centre Island when I was a kid before it became a park. I came to understand years later that we lived there because we were extremely poor. But to a little kid it was the equivalent to living in Paradise.

man i miss Toronto i remember when i was a kid my school took us to Center Island for the day i loved it , i would do almost any thing just to go back the Ferry hasn't changed a bit it still looks the same as when i saw it last

I never knew there was a clothing optional beach in Toronto.And I was on the island.

I LOVE Toronto Island

It's true, it's my getaway from the city core.

Rent a bike and explore the island, envy the cottages at Wards, sunbathe at Hanlan's, take a nap under a tree....I can spend a day of relaxation at Centre Island for dirt cheap. True testament than money cannot buy happiness.

Great place. I used to bring my Son there and still go back from time to time by Ferry and Zodiac to do Kiteboarding at Hanlans and stop off at the Pier for a Snack at Sunset.
