They are both very salty, but the flavours are different. Also, Marmite is originally from England whereas Vegemite is from Australia.

If you already like and use Vegemite & are watching this video, my question for you is......Why?

As posted, Vegemite in Australia usually comes in a jar. If u don't live in Aus and have it sent out to you, try the tube. It's much lighter & saves lots of money in postage fees. If you need the jar, go ahead. Whatever turns you on.

Note: I like lots of Vegemite on my toast too, but people new to Vegemite usually don't.

I spread it on like jam but have never eaten it from the jar. This guy squeezes it from a tube, if the video scanned down he probably would be wearing velcros on his dunlops. Harden up and spread it on like peanut butter.

Gotta be real butter on bread hot enough to melt it totally, and yeah, the MINIMUM would be about 3times more than that. Hell, I eat it from the jar, with a spoon. :D

About 3 times that amount would be about right for an Aussie. More if you want it stronger. The amount you used would be about for a Jat(z).

Foreigners need to know not to spead it like peanut butter but they need to some more.
