It's so funny how different crowds react. Like if you put him in front of a Metallica crowd or Steve Vai crowd, he'd be booed off the stage. But for the country crowd, this is just fine. This has always been my take on concerts - if you want a mind-blowing performance go see a real band, if you wanna get drunk and have a fun time, go to a country show. Just don't expect real intricate music at the country show lol, just drink some beer and flirt with the hot chicks in daisy dukes.

Not true at all. Keith is considered one of the greatest guitarists of ANY genre in the recording industry today, trust me. whoever titled this as "Ultra Solo" is a moron, he played the easiest main riffs of each of those songs. The guitar players who wrote those songs would play circles around him, think about it Angus Young (ACDC), Ritchie Blackmore (Deep Purple), Jimmy Page (zepplin), Randy Rhoads (Ozzy), etc... all of those guys wrote those songs, and keith comes out and blends the main riffs all together as an "Ultra Solo", not even close to a soul filled solo like the real greats can do.

I doubt you would last a minute up on stage with him. KU can and does play just about every stringed instrument there is, writes songs, plays the piano and sings. throw in millions in sales, tens of millions in tours and a few Grammys. Which of those do you have. I'd guess none.

Sitting in a chair strumming his guitar, little did I know who I was looking at. Try the one where he's with Dickey Betts, Tim, McGraw and THE Lynyrd Skynyrd (spell check I'm half asleep)

Andrewkafp,very true that Richie Kotzen(i've seen him live)is a AMAZING & fast ROCK guitarist..just like Yngwie,Vai,Pual Gilbert,etc.But there are other styles of guitar which don't utilize "shredding"..like country & blues.And within those styles are great players who don't sweep pick and can't play as fast as Rusty Cooley could(RIP)like Buddy Guy to name one.I'm Not saying Keith Urban is Hendrix,but he's a solid guitarist, specifically within the COUNTRY style.Wouldn't you agree??

Also, look up his two country instrumentals, "Rollercoaster" and "Clutterbilly." I mean, Keith Urban is certainly no Brad Paisley, but he's still a good guitarist and he's much better than Slash and a few other guitarists that are called great. Also check out "Start a Band," by Brad Paisley featuring Keith Urban.

DirEnGreyRule: You really think Slash is better? I think he's one of the most of overrated guitarists of all time. I honestly believe Keith Urban to be much more versatile than Slash, even though I have Urban's newer music...ever since he got married, Urban's been too pop for country radio.
I'd also say that Brad Paisley's much better than Slash...in all truth, I'd have to say that Slash isn't really all that good a guitarist. You know, at least not as good as people make him out to be.

whoever titled this as "Ultra Solo" is a moron, he played the easiest main riffs of each of those songs. The guitar players who wrote those songs would play circles around him, think about it Angus Young (ACDC), Ritchie Blackmore (Deep Purple), Jimmy Page (zepplin), Randy Rhoads (Ozzy), etc... all of those guys wrote those songs, and keith comes out and blends the main riffs all together as an "Ultra Solo", not even close to a soul filled solo like the real greats can do.
