I think Rick Simpson did not appeal because it seems there will never BE a fair trial, they have it all wrapped up so they do whatever they like in the courtroom, even if it totally against regular procedure. People need to show up to this trial even just to be a body presense in the room; get your LEAP people to show up and fill that court!

Am I not then subjected to a homicide investigation? Why is it okay for police and law enforcement to murder us, but it is illegal to help a dying person with real medicine? This is Christian Laurette, the problem with the jury here in Amherst was two-fold in my opinion. 1. The Rick Simpson trial jury could not be educated properly on the curative properties of marijuana in the 7 days from beginning to end of trial... because the Canadian Gov't "experts" were here testifying badly and they know NOTHING of marijuana; they don't even know that hemp is marijuana and vice-versa, and I believe that is intentional.

@chrychek The gov't and prosecution hire people with "credentials" which have no value, so they can win cases with "ignorance" of truth. But isn't ignorance of the law inexcusable? Hmmm.

@chrychek I wonder if this could be an angle against their BS? They argue it is illegal and unsafe to use marijuana, but the reason that it is unsafe is because the police are armed when they kick in the door. Obviously we know now cannabis/marijuana/hemp is not illegal because it makes you high, it is illegal because it heals better than anything the medical system has... safely and naturally.

Power in numbers. I firmly believe the huge public presense at Rick's sentencing is what swayed the judge to take a second look at things before making a foolish decision against cancer patients.

@chrychek 2ndly, the local prosecutor who is no stranger to marijuana actually was seen leaving the jury room WHILE they deliberated. This was brought before the court and all that took place as a result were threats to the people who saw what they saw. The prosecutor was exempted from answering if he uses marijuana by the judge. Apparently it is okay for them but if we do it, they push jail time.
