Sometimes I wonder..when young white kids today see footage like this..what do they think..what is their response..Do they wonder why did their grandparents of that generation was so full of hatred..Do they wonder how we feel to be dehumanized by another group of humans..or do they feel ashamed of those events..somebody answer that for me...

My grandparents and parents were northeast liberals, so they were against racial discrimination. My aunt, in fact, was a courier for the civil rights movement and would carry shopping bags full of donated cash down south and give it to the SCLC leaders including, once, Kr. King himself.

I don't feel ashamed or guilty. What I feel is anger. Racism is stupid, mean and wasteful. A racist society is unhealthy for everyone who lives in it.
