my best friends brother had one when he was in high school it was a 350 rocket with 3 on the tree and that mother fucker screamed it was brutally fast for being stock :) tyied to buy it off of him after it sat in some trees for 6 years and he said he would NEVER sell it
@Rotzloeffi ...J'ai deja eu 1 1969 hardtop,1969 decapotable,1970 custom,1970 GS455 decapotable,1971 custom 4 portes,2 1972 custom et elles sont tous vendues...a l'exeption du 1970 custom et 1970 GS455 decapotable...Je prefere mon GS455 decapotable parce que le moteur est un 7.5 litres stage 1...
My first car was a completely restored 1970 Buick GS350, dark-green with black vinal top, black buckets. It was my dad's re-lived youth, and I got to pimp it in '90 when I was 16 years old. Oh my how I completely didn't appreciate what I had. I drove it for about 5 years, and sold it for almost nothing while I was in college. One of these days, I'll replace it. Awesome car that's terribly missed.
Definately a 350. 350's and 400 were thru 69 in 70+ it was 350 or 455. It doesn't have the 3.28 posi rear end (one tire smokes) and it grabs pretty quick after the brake stand. (I've owned both a 71 cortez gold GSX and a 71 350 GS) these things drive like a caddy but eat pavement with the meanest of the muscles
After 1967, the GS was no longer called a skylark. My '67 has a 400. My fiberglass air cleaner goes for about $700 on EBay. Hold on to it, you'll get rewarded as time goes on.

It's a good contrast, shows how this car was ruling the streets in the old school AND new school.
