I think thsi games got huuuge potential. I loved the basic mechanics, but it looks horrible graphics wise and i found the vehicle control mapping a bit clunky and non user friendly.

Regarding the mapping, BGE has one of the most versatile control mapping options for any game. Being that it's for versatility does make it a bit more complex.

I love this game, but this really isn't a very good video of gameplay.

- To anyone who hasn't played, what he's filming is usually the very very very end of a battle, where the defenders lose the hundreds of classes to spawn to take down enemy tanks. Sappers, Anti-Tank rifle classes, all ATG guns knocked out, oviously their own armor gone.

Basically, it's the very tail end of a battle, and isn't a very good representation of the dynamics of a battle in this game.

That is so fun...but tanks are dependant on infantry and other tanks or you get sapped. I love that Sherman tank though ;) Go 53rd!

Oh HELL YEAH! These kind of AB-camping-lockdown missions are fun as hell!

But don't be fooled into thinking it's all a cakewalk-often what happens is that the side getting creamed calls out for air support & then soon come the HE111s & the Stukas & the 110s & if you're not in a heavy tank, you have a good chance of receiving ordinance on your dome. Stuarts & Vickers (present in this clip) notoriously disintegrate under less than perfectly-dropped enemy bombs that don't even land ON the tank..

also if you die and you got some points before you died they are only worth half. if you live and make it "home" you get 2 keep all your points earned so its better not to die

Thanks for showing everyone 'Spawn kill online'. For those who aren't familiar with the game, what he is doing is driving around the enemy spawn area, 'army base', & shooting riflemen as they walk out of their spawn buildings (the green ones). About, oh, 90% of kills in this game are made this way, both infantry and vehicles. There is no safety zones or temporary invulnerablity, they just aim at the spawn and wait. Not a facet of the game you should be sharing.

Whine some more, you probably had 1 bad experience. If you spawn over and over again its your fault.

And for those who haven't played the game. Usually, if the town is being defended, the only time you can get a tank into the enemy "army base" is when the town is being overrun, so they were probably going to lose it anyways. And no where near 90%, of all the kills are this way. I get killed from being camped probably about 2%, and thats if I don't know its being camped.

Snuggery.. you obviously dont play alot. The only time you get to spawn camp in an AB is when the town is about to be lost to the enemy. It takes a very highly costed effort on the attackers to overrun a town like this, which means many of the attackers will die first before over running a town like this in most cases.

What SnuggertBuggery don't know is that if the Armybase is overrunned can you always spawn from a depot inside the town, or from a defensive Mobile Spawnpoint placed in or just outside town if someone has set up one that is.

This was the first whine I've heard in many years about Army Bases being camped. Very funny. SnuggeryB when did you actually play WWIIOnline last time?

Snuggery is clueless. I played this game years ago and spawn killing was never a problem. Did I get killed at times when exiting spawn during a big attack? Sure I did. Did I constantly respawn in that same spot? Shit no. Why would you? You're just asking for death if the place hasn't been capped already.
