  • i thought it was pronounced Tombra

  • If you look in the dictionary it can be pronounced BOTH ways!!!

  • TIMBRE is to be pronounced TAMBER not TIMBER as this speaker says it!

  • He said it right. "Tamber" is how southern hicks in Nashville say it.

  • @noizereduction No, that's how musicians pronounce it. I have two music degrees; I've used the word on more than one occasion as you can imagine.

  • You have 2 music degrees? Oh wow! Me too! =D

  • actually, it's more Taambre

  • To think that I was contemplating buying the SPL Transient Designer analogue device for £350, the same price as Cakewalk Sonar 8 Producer which includes this, the brilliant Z3TA+ waveshaping synth, Roland V-Vocal and a great vintage sounding leveller. It's amazing the kind of studio you can build at home in this day and age. Digital technology killing music? Hell no! What's to begrudge about the joy of music making being in everyone's hands?!

  • @ootahbootah I totally agree. Im 19 and haven't known the ages of analog music production/mixing... And it is so easy getting these softwares for free it's actually a bit of a shame for the owners but hey, the more users the more music!!

  • Good tool, very useful :-)
