  • Thank you Doc!

  • @tbonebud no problem - there is a lot of good material there. please keep in mind that there are some typos of chords and chord placement over the words are not always correct. you can use a syllabic technique to figure out the beats and actual chord placement. i use this site with YouTube to figure out most of my pieces. there are one or two other places too (google image search with the song title often comes up with the actual chart).

  • Dear Mark, you are a real boss. I love your smooth play. I'm tryin' to get trought your version of "good bye pork pie hat", without any success. This one, Sometimes I'm Happy, it's great...you play this in the key of FM7?

  • @tbonebud the song is in the key of A. I am playing AM7 and alternating to a Bm7 and flipping in a 9th. You can get the basic arrangement (and where i get most of my material) from the guitar guy website theguitarguy(dot)com(slash)sometim1(dot)htm

  • That's really nice, love the little picking bit at the end. Shades would disguise the fact that your reading.

  • @littleguitarthing then i cannot read the paper :)

  • I'm really liking this American Songbook series, keep 'em coming.

  • @DouglasFrink i will see what i can do... need to do some more research. i am not spending too much time on arranging and memorizing as i have in the past. i think you can see that i am reading music in this video (even though i am trying not to give that impression). i want to do them fast an quick - then move on.
