To the commentors comparing Eddie and Sammy- This is Sammy's song with Eddie playing along. What Van Hagar had lost in DLR's showman vocals they had gained with another set of strings with his own repetoire. I don't look at it as a competition. Diamond Dave had his moment (and now his yogurt) but what Eddie and Alex pulled together OVER THE YEARS has always been awesome entertainment. Yeah I was bitter too when Hagar took Dave's spot but I'll never dislike what the Red Rocker added to the band.

Sam gave Ed somebody to play with from time to time. Sammy's cool, but he can't hold a candle to Edward. Overall, It's good musicianship, GREAT ROCK 'N' ROLL.

The songs written in the DLR era were better, but this song is the pinacle of Van Halen. Two guitars is the best! Too bad Sammy didn't want to continue playing guitar, imagine the possibilities! Great song!

When it comes to VH I am a DLR fan. I do however believe that Sammy added an element to the band that neither Dave or anyone else since has been able to match. This is a perfect example of that added element. Thanks for posting.
