  • Yea dude this doesn't take long to actually break a leg.. careful

  • jus be carefull u dont snap ur brothers leg or hyper extend his knee or fracture/brake his leg anyway have fun ;p

  • nice

  • I'm not good at this move. Every time that I try it, I pull the knee into my groin and it hurts. Also, some times people tap before I release but it hurts me a lot. Do I put up with it or am I doing it wrong?

  • can you learn sambo from this theres no sambo gmys around here?

  • @MYSTERYSKATER285

No you can't. Go join a ju jutsu dojo instead.

  • @MYSTERYSKATER285 dude if you didnt find any sambo gyms. if i were you i would do BJJ its very effective aswell.

  • Brilliant im ganna use this on my brother :P ( We roll For fun )

  • @Echoz1Rain pfftf! im gonna use this on my sister, maybe! lol. u can't hit a gurl, but that's nnot hitting! it's stretching!

  • thanks for the video, i dont use it for the move but i use to for the reversal but still great.

  • actully training and rolling and drilling and shit are real terms.

  • Brilliant

  • thanx for that one

  • depends on the player not the style both are affective

  • Who would win in a submisson wrestling match? Sambo or BJJ?

  • I'd say BJJ. But it does depend on the fighters. Good question though.

  • Combat Sambo and sambo!

  • They're very similar but different. Sambo is submission before position, jiu jitsu is the opposite.

  • good answer bro

  • if both fighters have the same skill/achievement level of their art... my answer is bjj.. it has simply shown more promissing and consistent tresults

  • clearly, tincannmann is a skilled martial artist who has the experience necessary to say such a thing.

  • i heard rambo uses sambo

  • awesome comment.

    you just won teh internettz

  • Rambo's a movie dumbass..

  • Sambo is just to freakin awsome!

  • sambo is from russia...

  • Great technique

    Ossu!

  • Well done, sambo always seems to have interesting stuff.

  • Actually people tap pretty fast from knee bars because they are one of the more painful submissions.

  • How quickly he taps! Sambo is some bad ass shit lol

  • haha you dumbass he taps because its set up...most fighters will fight for at least a few more seconds before they tap from that...it is a decent submission though...thats if you can set it up

  • quick with the insults arent you? I know what stuff like that feels like. You try and act macho for too long and you end up with torn ligaments and such.

  • i know haha beleive me...i do jiu jitsu and i wasnt really tryin to be mean with callin you a dumbass i just thought that you were one of the people who didnt know much about martial arts and made assumptions before you would actually tryed the move

  • I'm not a sambo guy, I'm a BJJ guy but I will say this. If you "fight" for a second you could ruin your knee. This is a demo so the guy shows that the move worked. In training, if the knee is that deep you tap or snap, dumb ass.

  • in training you wouldn't want to make the other person tap or snap.

you would just work on technique and fluidity, dumb ass.

  • Are you fucking retarded? While drilling you may not want to make the guy tap, but in TRAINING, that is ROLLING with a guy you do constantly look for the tap. If the guy is in that deep you don't want to risk it, you would just tap out or risk getting a fucked up knee, you dumb FUCK!

  • Question:

once down, how do you keep the guy from twisting to his left (lessoning the hold)

  • thats basically the only way to lesson the hold. its really up to the skill levell of the person preforming it. if you have a lot of skill with it you should be fine, but if your not so efficent with your ability to keep a locked hold with enough pressure that the other person doesnt think about...hey roll away....they simply rive in pain untill you stop or it breaks

  • omg that was sick!@!@!@!@

  • Sambo Steve is the man. He is great on Sherdog and great here.

  • Yooo! Sambo Steve! Awesome vid man. For anybody that doesn't already know, this is Sambo Steve, one of the BEST Sambo instructors in the US and probably the world.

  • i live in new york

  • you want cookie?

  • yes please, i love it here

  • i like it

  • i like

  • very good! thanks

  • The Ground Game looks very similar to Jiu-Jitsu.

  • cuz both came from judo

  • i think it's the other way around,

    judo comes from (japanese) jiujitsu.

  • well i was referring to bjj. bjj and sambo both came from judo which came from JJJ

  • sambo comes from freestye wrestling, folk stle and judo its like judo but it has more submissions and its like bjj but meanner

  • It also uses a kurtka instead of a judo or jiu-jitsu gi, and some of the moves are a little more difficult. You also can't use your belt tails like you can in jiu-jitsu, but you attack the legs as opposed to judo where you can't.

  • i thought bjj and judo both came from japanese jiu-jitsu and sambo came from judo

  • Actually, it started from Jujitsu and it branched out. From there, came styles like Judo, Aikido, etc.

  • heard aikido had some ninjutsu techniques aswell

  • or had influence from ninjutsu

  • Yeah, for some of the throwing techniques and other stuff as well. Ninjutsu was created purely for assassination though.

  • Ninjutsu influenced all kinds of martial arts. Karate, judo, aikido, everything. Especially close to the meiji era when there wasn't much need for the ninja, so some put their efforts into learning new disciplines

  • this is such a sweet martial arts

i dont have any good trainers in my part of town though

  • wow!

  • 68285 videos?! wow

  • Cool! But I would like to ask you a favor. Can you make some about offinsive techniques? Thanks!

  • well russia is a difenciv country so we dont realy atac first but brake it when we get tuched

  • The offensive techniques in sambo are the karate/kickboxing style strikes you see, so look for 'sambo strikes' if you wanna learn some offense
