Uplifting Trance is very good, although i think nowadays is suffering very much from some new producers who basically use the same melody over & over again on a lot of tracks, examples: Adam Nickey - Slider & Callista, basically the same as Robert Nickson - Maybe Next Time, Reorder - Come with me to varanasi, etc, etc., and the list is still going on & on, in this week's asot armin played another boring track like all of these listed here, but anyway, uplifting is a good subgenre of Trance Music

All my time listening to trance and I've only classified it as one style......it seems I have some research to do on the different genre's of trance.

epic trance, anthem trance and uplifting trance are different kinds of genres ;) anthem trance is less atmospheric and usually has simpler layered synthis while epic trance is more pop affected, has a softer beat and often vocals in it good anthem trance examples are: Binary Finary - 1999 Peran Van Dijk - Good Time Nu-NRG - Butterfly Flutlicht - Icarus and some epic trance examples: Charlie - Burn And Shiver Vincent De Moor - Fly Away Fragma - Toca Me Milk Inc. - Life In Your Suitcase
