Ugh, I hate how they offer up the "human suffering" element (the guy who's business was harmed), to make gullible viewers identify with the (so-called) victim, without any mention or footage of the intense suffering the animals in question were going through. ....

I didn't know Walter for much time but he was a fucking great guy. I worked with him for over a year and we became friends very fast. He was very passionate about his cause. He was extremely likable and funny!
Whoever the bitch was that said he ate two hamburgers a week before his arrest is OBVIOUSLY LYING and doesn't actually know the guy very well. I would believe it more if Walter was seen eating a fucking human-burger.
I wish Walter the best of luck!

@FightForTheInnocent 20 years on the Charges and if he is Charged as a Terrorist( under the AETA act) as most know he could face even longer Jail time but i agree a person who haves saves and hinders enterprise that profits from animal abuse and slaughter gets 20+ years and a pedophile only get 10-15 years in the Justice system but that just shows that out systems is corrupt and biased hell cops can get away with Murder here in the u.s so its clear our system of justice is a sham and a waste.

Pedophiles have to be monitored and basically are labeled Sex offenders. Also Walter Bond's mentioned he'd do it again. A Man of his calibur would be much more dangerous if he attempted again, as he would try not only to burn the place down, but cover it up better to get away.
ALF mentioned that the only reason they want their members to avoid jail is that "You can't save animals behind bars".
If People think he's a hero, I guess they think that mobsters and cartels are heroes too

this man is a hero and did great work i have been following his actions since the first report came in and even the read the book he had on his persons at the time of his arrest and that book made some great and valid points on direct action and activism also the fur shop/leather shop was a valid target and so was the foie gras restaurant so to say that these places have no link or do not profit from animal abuse or to imply as such is crap and any media coverage is good coverage..long live ALF

@anjuw87 1. am not your Mate.2. got proof of him eating beef? photo or records? if not your claim is just a assumption not fact.3. the arson's where done while no one was in the buildings so how did he endanger anyone at the times or the Arson's as no human was in the places at the time of the Arson's or are you saying he put fire fighter in danger and if so that is part of that job tittle also am a Atheist so the Max he faces is 20-30 years for the actions IF convicted on all counts.

I read that article and yeah I hopes he gets what he deserves for setting the building ablaze but i wish people wouldn't use such acts of terror to achieve their ends. The people who worked in that building in Utah that sold leather lost their livelihood for the time being, I knew them they were nice down to earth people.
Once again I just don't think such things are worth of praise on either side of the fence.

You dont appear to have any info about animal rights & what they know otherwise you would see the logic in what they do. Animal abusing industries also abuse humans. i.e pharmaceuticals put dangerous drugs on the market, meat & dairy industry sell harmful disease causing foods, and on and on. @Soulisscool Yes lots of cause have had to have direct actions, that's why we live in this wonderful country that we do. But i was referring to the MEAT part of that particular comment. Someones appetite has rarely been the issue of life changing matters. And as for the last part I was referring to myself as the history nut, seeing as I'm aiming to major in US history. And I am also quite familiar with suffrage.

And the reason the pharma and meat comment doesn't have much impact is because I am a person who believes in personal responsibility. If I take the drug, I should know the harms, if i eat the meat then it should be properly cooked. If i neglect any of these, I run the risk of illness and death.

Seeing as my friend was the only one to make this statement, which he read from the Denver Post, in this entire thread i was assuming that it WAS pointed at me.
