how do you make your fondant hard enough to allow the animal to stay? mine melts/: any advise would help. thanks in advance!

@s15villanueva you can use wilton's gum tex which will help harden the fondant or you can keep the figures in the over with the pilot light on.

Your tutorial is by far one of the best I have seen here! I do a lot of baking but I'm just now starting to do fondant figures. I love how detailed your video is & I will most definitely check out the rest of your videos, since it's a jungle themed cake & you seem to have videos on all the animals I'll need. usually if the fondant is tacky enough i dont use anything to hold it together.

other times i use water.
