  • @BikZippo it's kerosene that causes chemical pneumonia, check out the MSDS sheet on the NAFAA website for more accurate info

  • i am not sure what thuel to use

please tell me what the lowest burning thuel is and if its not totally toxic that

    would be awsome

  • @digitalurbantactics The fuel traditionally used by pros is white gas (naphtha), it's a tiny bit toxic so watched out.

  • @carisahendrix "Tiny bit toxic"?!? Umm, white gas is one of the most toxic substances out there! It will give the user bone cancer, chemical pneumonia, chemical burns, among other horrible problems... This video is a joke. Anyone watching this, THIS IS IN NO WAY HOW TO MAKE A TORCH< if you use this method you will be holding that gauze in your hand or mouth! Just because you think you can eat fire in no way makes you capable of teaching others... Stick to hurting yourself!

  • I've heard you should use white Coleman fuel for fire eating/breathing is this true? also someone said that Tiki torch fluid would work for both

  • @survivordude941 Never breath fre with white gas ever!!!!! Ever ever! that person has no idea what they said.

White gas for fire eating and 100% pure lamp oil for breathing is the standard. Defiantly find a credible person to learn from, mis-information like that could really hurt you.

  • @carisahendrix ok thank you very much

  • Where can you

    Buy surgical cotton rolls

  • @666mikespike Pharmacies, vet supply stores, the 1st aid section of supermarkets or wallmart.

  • @666mikespike Pharmacies, vet supply stores, the 1st aid section of supermarkets or walmart.

  • Wouldn't a metal torch get hot? I've been told that wood is safer. Any thoughts?

  • @Crazyjoeshow SInce you should be closing your teeth around the torch and not your lips with proper fire eating technique it the metal getting hot shouldn't be a problem.

Wooden torches will work but the fire will eat away at the wood slowly making the torches more fragile and dangerous as time goes on, and the wooden sticks get just about as hot as the metal.

    hope that helps

  • on your profile not good enough :D

  • @GreatWarr lol I'll try harder

  • wherE?

  • take your top off and i will pay attention

  • @GreatWarr You clearly haven't googled me. There's plenty o naked photos of me already. :)

  • Is it so clever to put Glue on it couldn't heated up Glue spread toxic gas ???

  • @Chemiefrik It is a small amount of non-toxic glue that cures with heat. so no i doubt it. Good thing to ask though

  • u talk extra fast haha

  • how many times are you using this torch?

    thanks

  • @vipet1983 about 2 hours of burn time

  • @vipet1983 I can get about 1.5-2 hours of burn time out of a single torch, but they are very easy to rewind

  • Using Elmer's Glue-All + Curad guaze. Burning Coleman's fuel.

  • Great video, Thank you. I'm generally a poi guy, so I have a few questions. My torch heads appear to be shrinking (quickly), is that normal? Second, I see a lot of melted glue as they burn, too much glue?

  • @djboogymonster too much glue maybe, or cheep glue. Can't go wrong with Elmer's.

  • Can you buy your own online premade. ? If so, do you know a site ? ^-^

  • @FakePath try BearClaw has great torches, but only kevlar bearclawmfg(dot)com

  • i make mine Much differently. The last set of 3 torches i made was about 18 months ago an i use them 9-15 hours a week... they're as tight an holding together as if I jus made them... you way works tho i guess

  • @hauschxbAUWJHYB1 I find this is just a cheap and easy method. Could you make a video response with you method?? help build the resource??

  • i dont have a fucking gotee any more

  • @alienboom330 oh no!! You ok?

  • @carisahendrix yea i will be win i put the fire in it was to close to my lip

  • hey, I was wondering what is the width of the cotton you are using? either you have very very big hands (doubtful) or I'm using the wrong size of cotton gauze. the smallest one I made was about the size of a jumbo marshmallow. and the bigger one was about twice the size. needless to say im a little lost. (and the small one was folded in half.)

  • @Inokodeyuu The cotton roll in that video is 1.5" tall. I hope that helps.

  • can you make some for me and send it after.

    Please

  • Hi, I am learning how to breath and eat fire these days and I came across your video and I would like to thank you for posting this video coz it is one of the few videos to teach how to make the Torch :)

  • @neo7th Thank you so much, I really appreciate that.

  • same question as TOMMYfromPALLETtown- what fuel to use?

  • @frickOfSickTrick what you wana use is Lamplight Ultra Pure Lamp Oil (paraffin)

MAKE SURE ITS ODORLESS AND SMOKELESS the label says it oh and an 18oz bottle usually runs for 5 bucks you can find it almost anywhere

  • @TOMMYfromPALLETtown

Lamp oil is used as a fire breathing fuel mostly, in order to perform the full gamete of tricks you'll need White Gas (naphtha)

  • @frickOfSickTrick

For fire eating you want to stick to White Gas (naphtha)

  • how much does it cost to make them?

  • @JSRD95

between 10 - 35 bucks depending on what kind of skewers you buy

    glue - 2$

    cotton- between 2 and 4$

    Skewers - between 6 and 30$

  • how many times can these torches be used? and can these be used for fire breathing?......one more question if i may what fuel do you use for your torches? thanks and sorry for asking so much

  • @TOMMYfromPALLETtown

That's a complicate question. I'll be answering it in the next Fire Bug Podcast. Thanks for the great question.

  • The video is wonderful...very informative...nothing better...Carissa is amazing! You go girl!

  • If the DVD is as thorough, informative, and as good as this video is, I would like to buy a copy of it. I have no interest in being a fire-eater myself, I'll leave that to the trained pros, I just want to watch a girl like you play with fire, and to learn how everything is done. Is there a way that i could buy the DVD with a money order? I don't have a credit/debit card.

  • @TheMatrix72370 You can mail in a money order, message the office info@wickeddesign.ca and they will give you the mailing address.

  • @carisahendrix Thank you. I'll be sure to do that. I noticed that you haven't been posting any fire videos in awhile. I hope that you post more soon. My favorite fire trick is when a girl massages her legs with fire. Can you do that? If so, please post a video where you are doing that a lot. My birthday is coming up later in the month, on the 23rd. That would be a very nice birthday present.

  • I never knew how to build a torch. I don't think I'll start eating fire (I'll leave that to Carisa, she looks much better than I do).
