  • Ur point is completely wrong... So u can say that we cannot plant corn, sugar cane or anything anymore.

    the concept of green desert is completely wrong, and can be applyed to any kind of plantation not well balanced and planned, not just eucalyptus. Do you know that the Amazon Forest consumes more water than an eucalyptus one? I am sure not....

    There are a lot of problems that the industry still needs to lear and improve, but this doesnt mean that all is harm to our planet.

  • Lies! Eucalyptus kills everything, resulting in green deserts. This is not sustainable agriculture! The only form of sustainable agriculture is to leave the forest intact and harvest what already grows there, observing and allowing natural cycles. Eucalyptus is grown for pulp that goes to wipe the arses of uninformed nations! Take heed: those interesting in making profit care little. They define sustainability as "economic sustainability" not the sustainability of the important cycles of life.
