Hey here is a Tip for part 3:23. Before you enter the main room where the wall gets knocked down. Knock-out all of Meryl's team, after you proceed, the frogs will break down the wall and throw a stun. However this time ONLY the 5 frogs appear, the others from the floors above don't. so tranq all 5 frogs then wake up Rat Patrol and continue. Your welcome.

@mario4542 Thanks dude. I've confirmed it after a little experimenting, I'm now absolutely sure that the weapon or item select button (held down) actually does pause the game timer. I've got one more question. Is "CAUTION" considered to be an ALERT PHASE? Or what about that exclamation point that is displayed over a PMC's head. I got 2 alerts in my stats and I'm certain that none but cautions during frog fight and Drebin chase occured. Thanks again.

@Stockpile1 nope you can have cautions and exclimation depending on what color it is blue is alright but red means its an alert

@DMRhythm: if you spend over 10 hours playing MGO, you gonna be a pro with analog-stick aiming. When I first got the game, I went straight to MGO without starting the single player mode. Playing with real people really improve your aiming/head-shot skill (and awesome CQC, knife skill). I went through the FROG fight with just Mk.2 tranq. + stun G. + smoke G. Hope it helps!

the mosin-nagant is probably the most useful gun - equal in that to the Mk .2 pistol. since both tranq the shit out of everyone and use emotion bullets. watching the PMCs cry like a baby is hilarious

i'm getting sick and tired having to restart this game all the time. it says i either kill a person or used a recovery item which i know for a fact i haven't. i haven't gotten the staue on boss extreme after this part. i know for a fact i never killed anybody but the recovery item pisses me off.

@skyei1 this is the most hardest and the most bullshit i went through in a game. some points i almost gave up on it. it pissed me off so much that i almost just quit playing mgs4 over it. i finally got it. the biggest bullshit you'll go through it the motorcycle chase part. that part pissed me off so much. good luck getting the emblem.

@skyei1 hopefully you get it. i beat it under 3 hours 45 minutes. saving at each new area helps a lot. haven't played this game in a while but act 6 frogs jumping around made it hard. had to reload data so much i remembered each frog team member and the gecko near the door before you fight mantis. forget her name. i thought she was going to be hard but what was the hard part was the frog team you have to take out that does most of the damage before you fight the actual boss.

almost every area myself. i just want the emblem and the stealth camo.

@skyei1 i saved my solar gun for the beauty it knocks them out within 2-3 hits. the only thing i hate about the big boss camo is you can't wear it on the motorcycle chase part. and you're welocme.

if you load a saved game and watch a mission briefing your stats scroll aross the bottom. Keep making seperate save files, check your latest in the mission briefing and if you're still on track you can start saving over the older ones and keep track of your progress. I did that and every time I went wrong (used a ration etc) i knew exactly where it was so didn't have to go that far back.
