you don't need to input the info to the phone and the text are filled in specific field (if you use vCard).

Data Matrix codes are not really widely used in North America...used like crazy in Japan though (no surprise, eh?)

Very handy for marking information on very small areas...like on a mPCI card where room is at a premium.

I think that their use on business cards is fantastic. Instead of carting around loads of cards that you will loose, you can simply whip out your code reader (in this case a Nokia cell) and have all the information that is on the business card transferred to your contacts...

No, but most people doesn't do it correctly (Cases, special characters etc.) and this way, you're able to add more than name and 1 nubmer...

I love this, have a codereader on my nokia too. Just a shame that more people aint using it.
