  • What the fuck is this crap?

  • So is this a bash on Trent Reznor and Eminem? I guess it's supposed to be ironic how Trent is actually leading the march of the pigs.

  • 0:05 The Process Church

  • Yes. That was how it's done merriqUe

  • You think you're evil but you're not

Still sucking life from the mainstream

It's so deluded, give it up

What's that you hide behind your pile of shit?

i think he means Marilyn Manson imho

  • The March of Pigs reference is in there because Trent Reznor was inspired by Skinny Puppy to form NIN. It's where "Down in it" came from and a direct reference to Skinny Puppy's song "Dig in it." NIN use to open up for Skinny Puppy back in the day.

  • @chopchopchamcham Even though the drums were sampled from public enemy's bring the noise... And the songs 'Dig It'.

  • @rmhanzel I'm just merely stating that Skinny Puppy inspired Trent to write his first song "Down in It" that led to forming NIN. Sorry for the mistake you are correct that the song is "Dig It" it was a fast response. ohGr and Trent are buddies and you will find through out their history they give little nods to each other. This is just one of them. A lot of kids these days don't know their history and I'm tired of people saying NIN came first. Glad you caught the Public Enemy sample!

  • wow that was a direct jab at Trent

  • kind of cute, kind of creepy, kind of relevant

  • This song never gets old.

  • oh, how the mighty have fallen.

  • WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS SHIT?

  • the soldier seems to be wearing the double cross symbol from charlie chaplain's The great dictator...

  • one of my dreams in life is to hear a rap battle between Ogre and Reznor

  • eminem just got what he deserved!

  • I lol'd.

  • me and my buddies used to get messed up on chems and listen to this and pore among other sketch beats

  • best video ever. ogre just goes ape shit on the band that stole his style and modern music itself.

  • It's adorable watching little Ogre brutally murder little Eminem. Poor baby.

  • skinny puppy all the way :)

  • Great song. Takes a dig at mainstream music for being to unoriginal. Great meaning to the song.

  • @Extremebehaviour they are pretty popular, fairly close to getting mainstream, it doesn't take long to find them if your looking up industrial music is my point

  • @xVictimOfADownx1 Well the lead singer is pretty well known (sortof) so they wouldn't be that hard to find I'm sure. But I wouldn't say OhGr is getting mainstream. I've never met anyone that says they listen to them.

  • @Extremebehaviour most industrial fans i know, know who they are, but yeah a typical person wouldn't know these guys

  • Einfach nur genial!!! Danke dem OhGr!!!

  • OHGR VS NIN anyone? I'd pay to see/hear it.

  • @MutleeIsTheAntiGod They were together on some of the stuff done as Pigface.

  • @GwenEams I know, suck and what not. But JUST Nivek and Trent would be worth hearing don't you think?

  • @MutleeIsTheAntiGod Yeah, I think you're right, they would be good together.

  • @MutleeIsTheAntiGod they'd be MORE than worth hearing ;)

  • bully with the horns in the corner = "Sabrina" Einsturzende Neubauten?? I guess...

  • best song :)

  • lol'd pretty hard at the "March of the Pigs" symbolism there.

  • LMAO ! love toy Eminem getting stabbed to death hahaah

  • I hate posting links here, but here is some good music ohGr made for a video game:

    /watch?v=6x9bjSHmwqs

I realized I was listening to ohGr in that video game after 7 or so years... then I heard of Skinny Puppy, and I heard that ohGr worked up some music for Descent 2. XD

  • Is this vid commissioned by Ohgr? l would have thought not.

  • @NeedleFactoryTube It's the official video.

  • <3 Industrial rock... Now this is music.

  • Music is personal.

  • Cant find the full lyrics for this! needs!

  • this video is unoriginal...

  • @ckyfan8291 your unoriginal

  • @4happygoat arent we all...

  • ,.v.cx,v

  • lknmflvkml.

  • I love this vid... The dispute between ohgr and NIN doesnt bother me. Both Trent Reznor and Marilyn Manson stole from him (Trent directly and Manson from Skinny Puppy) but I still listen to all of them. Either way... Great song/Amazing Vid!

  • This is an awesome song. I was fortunate enough to see him play live in Seattle, which he gave like three encores at the end of his set. Hopefully the next album

after DIMD is closer to the first two solo albums. Aside from the lack of mastering, I could only get into the first song, Shh.

  • Love the march of the pigs reference in this video! LOL!

  • The truth is not always such an easy pill to swallow.

  • Just because someone sells their work doesn't make them suck. Skinny Puppy paved the way and others liked it and added their own twist to it. Just because someone becomes "mainstream" doesn't mean that they sold out. I means more people are appreicating their music.

  • eminem :D

  • crazy vid xD

  • Nevik did not make the video. The guy who made the video added nin and eminem in as a surprise so ohgr just went with it anyway.

  • Awesome!!! OhGr is awesome!!!

  • it is about "dig it" and "down i it" ? hahaha

  • Damn, still talking? Did nobody read LordFuggles comment? Allow me to rephrase it, 'Will all of you shut the fuck up and enjoy the video? Jesus Christ." I concur dear sir..

  • Wait are we having the "what's industrial and what's not conversation?".... that never gets boring to read, how tragic.

  • I gotta say, Skinny Puppy and ohGr = fuckin' awesome. NIN is alright, and Eminem....not in my genre. :/

  • NIN has nothing to do with this. NIN is fucking cock rock

  • whats with all the shit talk towards trent... fuck... trents a totally different type of industrial...i like SP but they should take there head out there ass. trent made industrial big something SP couldn't do and they got fucking jealous end of fucking story. and you cant say trent ripped off SP cause he made over 20 ep's and singles. yes trent might of been influenced by SP but the sound of his FIRST cd is totally different then SP

  • @FrOSTy349 Back in the day okay back in '91 amitted ripping off Skinny Puppys song dig it and laughed about it. Im pretty sure there has been a fued since.

  • @FrOSTy349 no, not really. lol and if you think trent made industrial music big in the mainstream, then you really dont know much about the genre. Do KMFDM, Skinny Puppy, and PIG have multi-platinum selling records? No. Reznor popularized HIS work, not the genre itself, its been like punk rock, it has an underground following. if you do end up going to any industrial concert that is not NIN, Rammstein, or Ministry then you will see they have only a few hundred attendees not huge stadium fills

  • @FrOSTy349 skinny puppy doesnt want popularity cuz popularity is stupid. Trent admitted he copyed dig it, I don't think this song is about NIN at all. So why bitch?

  • and for the record...i like skinny puppy also...

  • and exactly what song did nine inch nails rip off?

  • I was really dissapointed by the new album. There was ONE song I liked off the entire album.

  • One of the best animated music videos I have ever seen!

  • Reference of "March Of The Pigs" by NIN in the video?

Maybe this video wants us to say that NIN and his fanbase stomps (unmeant?) on many talented artists that get overseen. Or that they ignore them.

Anyway I enjoy SP, ohGr and NIN =)

  • shut up faaagggsss. if they dont know, then theyre not supposed to. people will always be wrong about something. damn.

  • ....and he spells his name with a capital "G"

  • "You think your evil but your not"

  • good oghr

  • Um... for everyone who doesn't know the history/who Skinny Puppy is, the reason Trent Reznor is in this, isn't because he failed musically or anything, it's because he royally ripped off one of Skinny Puppy's song (Nivek Ogre AKA ohGr)

  • Ohgr doesn't like be categorized with Trent Renzor they are both tolally different kind of people. But one is more original.

  • @rubster1206 i always thought they enjoyed eachothers music. honestly i like both nin and sp :)

  • Nivek is a god!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Man... this is good shit. Youtube needs more!

  • first time listening to this song, I had it in the background... heard the "the fleeting magic of what could have been" lyric and began pondering if this was about NIN.

i tabbed back into it a few moments later to see the doll with a NIN shirt, i rather agree with the songs message, despite finding the song rather bland...

i think reznor should have really given up the rock band thing a while ago and just become an electronic music composer, cause that's really what he is.

  • @cyncmaster150

Have you heard the theme he did for Tetsuo: The Bullet Man? So good.

    @Armagon9177

He is like, 40 now. You can definitely tell all those years of touring were harsh on his voice. Well, that and the drugs probably didn't help. Fragility 2.0 was a greaaaat tour though. Heard the With Teeth one sorta blew in comparison, but regardless, he's done touring, so it'll probably be back to him in a studio again.

Anyway, like the song, like the video. Like ohGr.

  • @JonnyThePieKing

No. But I love you for telling me about it! =]

You probably know this too but he's composing music for "The Social Network" movie... But yeah, I think releasing all his material under his name instead of various personas just.... makes sense.

  • its a good one

  • I AGREE WITH JSMITH12G. I CANT STAND PEOPLE WHO TALK SHIT ON YOU TUBE. ITS PATHETIC TO TALK SHIT TO PEOPLE YOU WILL NEVER MEET IN YOUR LIFE. GROW UP. IF WANT TO GROW SOME BALLS GO START A FIGHT WITH SOMEONE BIGGER THAN YOU.

  • @HATEGOV agreed but you dont need to have balls to be tough i know some girls that can fuck peeps up this aint the 1800s no more where they keep the woman at home and tie up their feet so they cant leave the kitchen basically slaves

  • awesome! :D

I came across this through Roman Dirge... weird huh? lol

  • @CinnaMint Roman Dirge did the cover art for the album this song was is on, so probably why the two were related.

  • you think your evil..but your not

  • 2:39 bad ass imagery! :)

  • was this song about trent reznor? hahaha

  • march of the pigs

ohohoho i get it. I wonder why ogre made fun eminem and trent in this vid. awesome song and video btw.

  • @Killnine90 because theyre commercial.

  • @Killnine90 How about because both of them are crappy people?

Trent is a whiny guy that somehow got pushed in to the mainstream, and Eminem is gutter-trash and worth nothing. If you listen to Eminem, I hope you don't follow the image he creates in his lyrics.

  • @coydigga well unfortunatly every kid now wants to be ghetto and has no clue what its like to actually live thru shit dealing with street life i know ive been thru it but you dont see me talking like im black and wearing ridiculous clothes

  • 'dito el soldado temblando

  • R.I.P nine inch nails 1988- 1997. went to the self destruct tour in 94 saw them a few years ago. just a completely different band. all Angst gone, no feeling in the vocals, and nin fails to engage you. if you're a fan of Broken and TDS primarily we're likely on the same page. it really is a sad thing such talent went to a wasteful direction. best of luck to Trent, hope he finds himself.

  • @Armagon9177 you fucken tard, if you knew NIN at all you would know Broken and Pretty HM were his least favorite albums. He found himself after these albums. Quit acting smart dude!!!

people like you are the first to go

  • @Armagon9177 nothing wrong with his music today. he's just gettin old and wants to explore and do different things other than that hateful music all the time. not to mention, but when he stopped doing drugs, he lost a lot of animosity that he has for things...i think anything reznor touches is gold...and i actually was listening to nine inch nails when PHM came out..before they got all "trendy"...doesnt matter...if they are or not...nin still beats the shit outta most music today

  • I always fast forward to 1:36

  • I came.

  • So cuuuute : >

    nice music for kids

  • Sucking life on a mainstream. I like the part when soldier kills Ogre with that strange "Skinny Puppy live" hat. Nice clip, like an illusion you have to give up. 'bout other ohGr songs - i reccomend "HILO", "WATERGATE" from "SunnyPsyEp".

  • Actually the lyric goes "Still sucking life from the mainstream."

I think the message of that part is along the lines of "I wouldn't have a problem with mainstream music if greedy assholes didn't get paid millions to write shitty unoriginal unintelligent uninspired music." But thats just my guess. ^_^

  • Oh,and the toy soldier in the video IS OhGr. He seems to confront his past self (with the SP Live costume).

  • NN and Rammstein comes to mind!

THROBBING GRISTLE RAPE MINISTRY AND GOT A CGILD

Die Krupps and Sister Machine Gun > Rammstein

Skinny Puppy & FLA & THERE ISDE-PROJECTSD(OhGr, DELERIUM ETC) > NIN

OLDSKOOL NIN > NEWER NIN AND MARYLIN FAGGÖTH...

  • Entirely you opinion.

And I was not saying ANY of those groups you've mentioned sold out. I like Sister Machine Gun,Throbbing Gristle,Ministry,NIN,Skinny Puppy,Ohgr,FLA and Rammstein.

Trent Reznor hasn't sold out. Hes been giving away MP3s for FREE and if you want a Vinyl or CD version pay. He has not been making near as much money as he used to. He cleaned up from drug addictions, got buff and started making new music which you don't like because its not the same psycho stuff he used to make.

  • And since hes fixed many of his personal problems hes not talking about himself anymore. He addresses world issues like war, censorship, religion, dictatorships and big brother society. And if you take the time to listen you'd see he hasn't rally changed much at all musically. His works from Pretty hate machine all the way up to The Slip are like one big epic story. Past song melodies emerge in newer songs and beats from The Downward Spiral show up in Year Zero. Its all eponymous.

  • i still disagree and have to agree that Nivek is right on the "March OF The Pigs" i jkust dontl ike pop orented music, mostly because the genre has(allso as ITS CALLED) been made to popularitys bitch...

  • Ohgr didn't even know the NIN and Eminem shit was even in this video. It was a "surprise" by the animator.

If anything Ohgr gets frustrated sometimes.

He says that Reznor is 2 steps ahead of him musically. And the "March of the Pigs" in the video represents Ohgr being trampled by Trents success.

And NIN is Independent now you know that right?

  • I kinda doubt thats the message, theres a reason the song is about the Mainstream and how it takes averythin in.. And i disagreee bbecause Ogre has said he hated NIN at some point when he turned into a popwhore.

  • Yeah the songs most likely about how many mainstream acts really don't care about how shitty their music is all they want is the money. Hence the line "Still sucking life from the mainstream).

But Ohgr didn't know that Eminem or Trent where even in the video until he watched it.

They said its nothing personal for Trent, they are just "Poking fun at an old friend."

Trent was never a pop-whore. I am pretty sure he hates pop culture.

  • He NEEDS to make thep sycho stuff, or whatever.. fuck him.

AND YES ITI S MY OPINION JUSTL IKE ITS YOU(THOSE) RETARDS OPINIONS TO DOWNRATE A 'IMO' COMMENT!

    OPINION BREAKER...

  • The downward spiral and Pretty Hate machine are Trents most mainstream albums...hes gotten more money from those albums than ANY of his newer ones.

  • They ARE NOT mainstream and yeah sometimes underground music gets popular but thats not the problem, the problem is the records wants to to make specific music for the majority(who may be braindead kids. or ppls in general) and the artist gets mnoey greedy too, his "free" stuff was crap(IMO ofc)(The Slip, 9000 or whatever it was called) ...

  • While what you said is true for Pretty Hate Machine. Yes it was an independent release with mainstream success.

The Downward Spiral is another story.

The Downward Spiral was produced by Trents label Nothing Records a subsidiary of Interscope who's parent company is Universal a mainstream record label.

The Slip is his most independent album.

He used to view music as his job but since he gotten sober and healthier he views music as his calling and hes happy.

  • @OrbitZombie The Fragile outsold PHM and it was released under his own lable. I'm pretty sure he made alot more money off it then PHM. That and PHM's ownership rights are all fucked up and currently owned by a bank, Trent essentailly makes writing/performance royalties off of it whenever it's printed. I'd assume he probably made a decent amount off of The Slip aswell, seeing as how he got to pocket everthing (minus overhead). And once you factor in the tour revenue that each album generates...

  • @thirtypointer182 thats excactly how it works man you know how it is independent is the new major label

  • This is a song by ohGr.

  • Eminem is racist/fascist shit...

Underground FTW. DOWN WHITH THE MAINSTREAM-ERS!!! NIN is dead too... Atleast SP and OhGr dosen't do the music for money, and this is definetly Electro/Industrial!

  • lol neither do NIN do music for money dude, ill admit, im not big on Reznors Newer stuff, but that doesnt mean im going to call him a sell out just because i dont like his newer music (or his new personality, post rehab) also Eminem is one of the very few rappers out there in the mainstream that doesnt talk about "bangin hoes, shootin cops, talkin bout bling, lookin fly(? the hell is that)" etc etc.

  • Eminem's sux, listen to Immortal Technique (though ignore his libertarian nutcase view) and The Coupe(or Cape i forgot) im not even sure what the group was called.

  • ohgr did not add the nin or eminem part to the music video... the guy who made the vid put them in there to "surprise" him.

    said so on some interview.

I could care less.... awesome some

  • i just farted

    ill usion?

  • @RoomTroll Obviously its an illusion.. no wait.. i can smell something.. it stinks .. it must be your fart.. finally it arrived here

  • that's why you deleted your comment right?

  • isn't the NIN part just an allusion to March of the Pigs?

  • I love SP, NIN, and Eminem.

I lol'd at the video. Nivek is entitled to his opinion...Actually, he's right. But I'm not so devoted to any artist that their personal vendettas effect who I listen to.

  • I agree with you but your a douche

  • @Shoogle Shoogle your a fucking retard

  • @Shoogle i dont think ogre has a vendetta against anyone

  • @Shoogle And he's possibly entitled to his opinion a bit more than the rest of the populous, considering his isn't that of an ignorant, moronic douchebag "trolling" on music he doesn't understand. And that, dear lovelies, is my opinion.

  • @plasticsmile231 No one is more entitled to their opinion than another. No matter how ignorant they are.

And everyone is also able to translate the music into whatever meaning they want. Some people cry when hearing a song, when others get riled up by it. But Shoogle is pretty much right on, regardless. :) personal vendettas against anyone... who gives a shit, just enjoy the music.

  • He found his way through all the trivial bull shit, and made his way to the center of the maze. Nothing was there. It was a waste.

  • agreed!

  • NIN & SP = both are great !!!

  • These lyrics are a little... transparent lol What happened to the opaque abstraction of Skinny Puppy?

  • I don't know why a fight about this ensued. I'm a Ohger fan. Yes I'm american and I'm not proud of the prior presidential administration or the reputation the Republicans give us. I'm on the same Continent where Skinny Puppy was born. And I feel americans had some to do with their success. I will always love Skinny Puppy regardless of how they feel about americans. I feel it's important to listen to those who tell you when you are wrong.

  • Ogre's just mad Eminem didn't mention Skinny Puppy in any of his songs. Eminem actually was (is?) a NIN fan.

  • lol after reading the comments below... why does it matter if trent and nick do or do not get along? I listen to plenty of artists, some dislike each other some are friends, grow up people not everyone is going to like what other people do and agree on their views/outlook. also to the NIN fans, you have to admit after trent came out of rehab he has had a stick up his ass.

  • wow this isnt like most of the music im into(manson NIN skinny puppy kmfdm etc) but it has a nice electronica sound to it, and this is the singer from SP? well done, video is cool too.

  • "Grrr mainstream bad! I remain true and underground! Grrr!"

  • Why eminem? I doubt Eminem even knows who Ohgr or Nivek is.

  • Ohgr is the industrial pioneer. We may admire the germans for Die Krups and Ramstein, but they admire us for Ohgr and Skinny Puppy.

  • @sshatchell They're Canadian. You're American.

  • Well duh! Everyone knows that. Did you think you were making some kind of news flash? We are still on the same continent. I saw a video of how much Ohger likes the germans for their speed, efficiency and quality of work. Not to mention their label is German now.

  • I never heard the italians basking on the German's greatness. They're on the same continent.

  • I'm envious of anyone closer to the music I enjoy. I'm blown away that there are germans that only know of one industrial band. Like Ramstein and nothing else. It's funny how much Ohger loves the germans, and Nina Hagen loves americans!

  • Comment removed

  • Front Line Assembly, OhGri s a side-project.

and gemran got early-Wumpscut and Funker Vogt

  • ohgr was so mad when i saw him in minneapolis. about 30 people showed up. However, dude is the shit. He tore it up regardless.

  • I would enjoy more if it werent metocre and supported by morons.

  • Will all of you shut the fuck up and enjoy the video? Jesus Christ.

  • I can't, doesn't want to load :<

  • @LordFuggles I like your style.

  • Gotta love fanboys attacking NIN in payback

I love NIN, I like OhGr, not into SP, didn't tried Ministry yet. Cheers and don't be dumb, don't flame.

  • industrial gossip i like

    eeeeeeh its original

  • Comment removed

  • In fact, Ohgr is not on good terms with NIN. They had an enema spa last weekend and it was all like "-Omg had u hear bout kanye´s intervention -yeah! hes just a faggot and his wife is deform -No she´s not" Then Tool came to the room to say hello but...

You can read it all in "Industrial Gossip"

    So shut up

  • Holy shit, will everyone stop talking about NIN vs ohGr? NIN is awesome, ohGr is awesome, now drop it.

  • lol look at Trent and his march of the pigs

  • lol, eminem!

  • Ohgr actually is better than NIN, more original, his newest song Eyecandy is awesome!~!!!!

  • is it just me or is the BPMs in the video a lil faster than on the album.......

  • Thanks. I figured Ohgr was on good terms with NIN. Trent has openly stated Skinny Puppy as a major influence. I just don't take kindly to Ohgr fans trashing NIN. I like this song.

  • some youtubers have too much time on their hands...

its just music. if you don't like it, listen to something else.

  • Not to this extent and sounds awful live.

  • Virtually all singers use voice effects to improve the way they sound on their albums.
