the gameplay of dirge can get really repetitive, but in a good way i guess, the story on the other hand is sort of inspired from...military/fantasy mangas and animes but with that FF twist, overall a good game that CAN get tedious if you are NOT into repetitive shooters, the only unique thing about it is awesome soundtrack, that you play as Vincent and the gun customization, the RPG element is nothing to write home about, overall if i had to give it a score, id would probably be a strong 7.5, :)

actually if you look at it japanese music is great...like openings for Naruto Shippuden (sign, closer, hikari no hitari) and that stuff...their music can touch peoples hearts..thats why its so great

I actually ordered Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete on Blu Ray a week ago, it came in two days ago and I watched it last night, It was amazing! I think it was a much improved version over the original release. Plus the "On the way to Smile: Denzel" anime-short was great with explaining his character a little more. :D

Has a sequel been announced or rumored or anything at all? I'll go crazy if they actually make a sequel to it! :D

I don't believe so. I guess Square is getting to understand that they have made enough sequels and prequels to the game, and Dirge of Cerbreus kinda is the sequel. And it's good to stop to that. It wouldn't make any sense if there would be any weapons left to fight or so. Let's just hope they'll do the Remake of FFVII,

I just spent all night beating this game... WOW. I love it! I got addicted to the Final Fantasy VII series through Crisis Core. After I played that I played the original, then this one. I love 'em all! :D

It really is, Nobuo Uematsu is the king of soundtracks. : D Even though the game itself was a disappointment, but story was just lovely. Well, what could you expect from a shootergame in a series that has never had that kinda stuff before.

fist i watched advent children [it locked cool] than i played this game, than i watch like 60 videos of 30 minutes[by goingcrazy just to see how she played the whole FFVII

@zenzen126 i played through all of crisis core but, i'm sorry they could've done a lot better square really is slipping these days. honestly why does any ff need a sequel? or a prequel? the core games are so good already (at least 1-10) it's just squares way of making quick cash using their reputation cause their games are not as good as they use to be or selling as well as they use to be
