Hi. Can you please send me an illustrated guide on how to build a smokehouse? That is, if you can spare some time. I live in a humid tropical country and our family loves smoked fish. I don't want moldy smoked fish so I want to smoke them the proper way. Lovely video, by the way.

I agree about the pig slaughter. Personally, if I had to kill my own meat, I wouldn't eat meat. I would probably limit myself to eggs and fish when it came to meat. I just couldn't slaughter an animal. Not for moral reasons, I'm violently afraid of blood. That and meat is such an inefficient source of calories unless the animals are fed on pests, wastes, or otherwise inedible (to humans) matter. Better to just eat more fruits and veggies.

I think I woulda just sat down and cried for a few minutes after the poly-tunnel collapsed......or at least thrown a shoe at it, then gotten to work removing the snow. What a mess! Loved the video!!! :)
