I would have loved it, even if she didn't recognize the characters if the characters recognized her. I was kind of disappointed that didn't happen, but I guess coding different video sequences for Prophecies characters would have been too difficult.

She make me proud of my roots. xD These words fill me with tears of joy ever time but i find it funny she does not remember characters from Ascalon after she telling them ,they r ,her best friends right after her mommy after giving them her shard. yeah i am aware of the quest with the shard. but it isnt the same. as recalling you from her past.

off topic comment - Mesmers pretty much R must have in any decent PvP match , i even find a great use for them in PvE , I usually play as warrior tho but i learn to fear them n respect them. After all a high skilled mesmer can handle any profession in a fight , its their role to rob the other professions from useing their skills n weaken them by it.

In the PC gamer april 2008 issue, the one with Guild Wars 2 as the cover story (which gw2 turned into gweotn) they said "we cannot release much information about GW2 but we can tell you that one of your Pre Searing friends will be with you on your journey into the Eye of the North" i knew right away it was Gwen. =P

Gwen was lost after Pre searing of the first Guild Wars campaign "The Flameseeker Prophesies". She did not appear in either "Factions" or "Nightfall" and her fate became the speculation on many fan site forums and blogs.

It was only with the release of "Eye Of the North" aka "GWEN" that Gwen was found again, which takes places many years after the Charr invasion of Ascalon.

You can also play the character of Gwen in the Bonus Mission Pack, which I highly recommend!

You must buy it. No Monthly fees. Require atleast 1 of the companions to play Eye of The North. But the expansion is a sequal to The original Guild wars. Last but not least, the things monumented in Eye of the North will give you Bonus stuff you can use in Guild Wars 2 which comes out next year. Beta will be next december.
