This is the most ridiculous game ever to be made - if you die, you have to go back about 40 minutes and some of the levels are just impossible first time because there are no instructions. Don't even rent this game or enter a shop which rents or sells it.

Reminded me too much of Stranglehold, which was better, as it featured more interactivity with the environment. Crazy bit of fun though this game, you buy what you see.

Nearly every boss fight comes down to a dramatic cutscene with a number of quick time events ala Resident Evil 4 which is LAME!!! you only really Fight one boss and he wasn't much of a challenge..
graphics are somewhat sub-standard the grindhouse filter thats applied can get abit tedious at times.
Soundtrack plays it's part well
Gameplay gets repetitive and i found straining took every fibre of determination to play to 100%
Achievements are easy and as 40% can roughly be done on the first mission is somewhat of an afterthought
P.S - Video is nicely cut also a pleasant change to see a reviewer actually playing the game and getting frustrated + reviewer super hot girl :) is a nice touch
I agree on all fronts. I felt like I should be having a mild seizure at times with the film filter. The soundtrack was the best part of the game. Much like other games of the genre, you find yourself doing the same things over and over again, almost in sequence.

all around good question. why are reviews expected to be at least 3-6 minutes when you can usually describe a game in 3 to 6 sentences?!

T'was...alright I guess.Gameplay was far too repetitive.
The plot is confusing as hell...but it's so over the top I can't help but love it.
The soundtrack kicks all kinds of ass.
The controls are a little stiff but they're easy to get used to.
I have to say it's a rental at best.
Also,are you guys planning to do Brütal Legend?

seems we agree on all points. check out our interview with the creepshow (they are one of the bands on the wet soundtrack)
and yeah...definitely planning to do brutual legends but i'm sucked into dragon age at the moment!

While the confusing story was pretty meh it was funny, made me laugh throughout.
As for gameplay I agree, it's gets boring far to quickly. Though I do love the QTE events.
I agree Ruby is pretty badass character, I liked her more then most characters in action games.
