@dmgcat Street skating wheels are harder rubber than avarage longboarding wheels. From the sounds of it. you're new to longboarding. Check out silverfish longboarding (google it) it should answer pretty much all of your questions that you have.

@iamdeadtomyself Slide pucks, depending on your weight, the pavement you slide on, how much you slide, the material the puck is made of, etc, can last a couple weeks or a couple years. I'm 145lbs and use delrin pucks (the most resistant, but also one of the louder and slower sliding materials), and mine are barely worn down after 6 months. My 220lbs friend goes through them in like 2 months.

As for how much they cost, usually $10-$30USD for a set.
