What is the tune you are playing between 3:15 and 3:35? I have been hearing that on a local radio station where they use it as background behind a PSA and no one at the station seems to know. I keep hearing that tune and cannot figure out what or who it is. Brent Mason? Albert Lee?
hello i have a les paul studio and i am thinking of sanding the body to give it kind of an sg styl and slim the neck down aswell as adding a bigsby... if i was to put in a pickup at the neck replacing the organelle humbucker. should it be a tele lipstick or a strat pickup?
@lookout4kneegrows didn't mean to give you a thumbs up. what the hell are you talking about? just buy an SG. and it's silly to ask someone else what type of pickups you should put in your guitar. it's going to be your sound, coming from your guitar which is being played by YOU. figure it out yourself, my man.
@TMMSfanCLUB jesus dude chill out. i didn't mean i was making it a double cut away. i just sanded the edges like and sg has. And im just asking what he thinks will go with a gibson humbucker better a tele lip stick or a strat pickup. What is your problem?
i would say just do research and listen to lots of different Pickups. There is so many types to Tele and strat pickups out there. i like the Joe Barden Tele Neck pickup. or OC Duff big boy tele neck pickup.
is it just me or is the body a bit too small for a les paul? anyways the tone is amazing

The body is smaller than a lespaul. Is made a template with the lespaul shape inside of the tele blueprints.

Yes it is very comfortable to play . I think it would sound great with P-90s, I am selling this one to build another one.

Wonderful tone, fuller than a typical Tele... It seems sooooooo comfortable to play too. I wonder how it would "behave" with P-90's... ????
