@bonds911 1) Cornering ability, it has none. 2) The ability to drive it more than 20 laps around the track without having to charge it for several hours. 3) The ability to drive it more than 200 miles from home, and be able to return the same day.

@TheSmokingTire first i feel glad that the smokingtire channel replied to me thank you ... but this car can definetly corner it got a better time than the amazing evo on the topgear track, it also lasts 240 miles and its been proven, even a guy on australia broke the record for over 300 miles and tesla is launching a level 3 charger which fully charges in 45 minutes. also california is making billion dollars solar powered plants to charge the ev generation... and the tesla model s rocks better

@bonds911 I've actually driven one, and a GT3 and Evo, and I don't care what top gear says about it. This car understeers horribly. It may last 240 miles for normal road use, but on a track we depleted half the battery's life after 10 laps around Willow Springs. And the Level 3 charger will almost certainly be built into your home. If you're on the road, you have to charge from a standard 110v outlet or, at best, a 220v outlet that's borrowed from someone.

Can't corner? Same time as Porsche GT3 on the Top Gear track. Plenty of people run it in autocross and it does really well. Remember even at 2700lbs, it still has Lotus DNA.

Charging time is 3.5 hours at this point, but Tesla is launching 45 minute charging with the Model S.

You can return on the same day if there is a RV park or a Tesla HPC along the way. See David Peilow's trip from London to Edinburgh (~400 miles) done in one day (took the BBC MINI-E 4 days).

@JodieDrift I did a few laps in that car, it was like playing Gran Turismo on mute. The Tesla has some of the worst understeer I've experienced in any car ever.
