actually one if the investigating officers was almost certain that he was just trying to reload the rifle but it went off instead. if you look closely it looks like we was trying to reload. idk if it was intentional or not but its just something to think about.

Actually I watched another show that featured an interview with the cop he was shooting at. He said it looked nothing like he killed himself intentionally. The cop said he was trying to reload the gun with one hand, and it discharged.

Bad primers in cartridges, excess dirt.... yes, the AK is renowned for reliability, but a rifle is only as strong as the cartridges it fires. The stovepipe stoppage he suffered is easy to clear, and if he were trained, it would have been cleared quickly (using his other hand). Pretty bad shootout....this.
