LOL RISE UP! I couldn't stop laughing when I'm watching. Babo was fine actually but Rising Sun.... Gosh I CAN'T believe the judges said they were good! They should seriously take a look at DBSK's performance.
& uh. The Rising Sun performance was just... O___O; Especially the "rise up!" part... it was off beat and off tune and just off... and... they really... can't reach high notes, sorry. =X
they butchered rising sun. -o-;; i mean, they shouldnt even attempt shouting rise up because as far as i know it has added effects on it. and how brave of them to try on dancing along with singing live. even the dong bang boys had a hard time singing it live alongside dancing.
as a dbsk fan i think they did a pretty good job singing babo.the only thing i didnt like was changmins part but tats a given. changmin's voice is unique in a way tat it can reach incredibly high notes. for RS teh rise up was horrible x.x and the guy playing yoochun sounded winded half way through the song and their dance steps didn't match the song well. the person playing changmin couldn't hit the notes as well but the others were good =)
I am a big TVXQ fan and this was well.... it was what it was. Changmin part was bad on the high part and the RISE UP! did make me bend down... but i think that they did the best they could and also i have heard Changmin voice crack or be off tune at least once during the like 10 times they actually sang this song live.
i seriously think they are quite ignorant of the fact that none of them can pitch the high vocal parts.
the whole performance was so monotonous, the screaming parts of "RISE UP!" makes me want to sink down into a hole where their screams can be blocked out. probably i will RISE UP again when they go practice more?
this is classic. how dbsg fans enjoy dissing others just because. I'm ashamed at how you supposed 'fans' call yourselves just that- fans. absurd. I'm a huge fan of dbsg, but that doesn't warrant me a right to criticise. -shakes head- extremes, fans are. anyway, I think they weren't as terrible as so many had made them out to be. decent performances, obviously not comparable to dbsg, but we're talking about different levels of talent here.

It was off-putting that the RS dance was simplified waaay too much and that the vocals for that song weren't great, but I think some of the DBSK fans here are taking things a little too far.

Oh yes, the question on why we DBSG fans are watching this? Its freaking because we heard that a group was doing two of DBSG's songs. And we stumbled here and saw how the "tribute" was. Boy, were we amazed.
And since Soul are such passionate fans of DBSG that they're doing an AHEM "tribute", shouldn't they be aware of the fact that EVEN proffesionally-trained DBSG does lipsynchs? They don't do lipsynchs all the time, just when they have alot other performances, but DBSG still knows their limits ><
Soul being selected to be back-up dancers for Cindi Wang? Well of course, they dance like girls so much that whoever who selected them decided that they were suitable for dancing in her corny videos.

Honestly, as proud as Singapore I am, I can't help but feel embarassed(?) for DBSK...these grp just butchered my favourite song. The Rise up part kills me >.< And for the Sha Gua(Fool), I had to close my ears at the high notes..they totally can't carry the song at all...Also, their dancing is average. Sorry to be so harsh but at least I don't lie like the judges. Seriously, they are either being hypocrites or have bad taste. However to end on a polite note, at least they dared to try.

they butchered rising sun. -o-;; i mean, they shouldnt even attempt shouting rise up because as far as i know it has added effects on it. and how brave of them to try on dancing along with singing live. even the dong bang boys had a hard time singing it live alongside dancing.

as a dbsk fan i think they did a pretty good job singing babo.the only thing i didnt like was changmins part but tats a given. changmin's voice is unique in a way tat it can reach incredibly high notes. for RS teh rise up was horrible x.x and the guy playing yoochun sounded winded half way through the song and their dance steps didn't match the song well. the person playing changmin couldn't hit the notes as well but the others were good =)

I am a big TVXQ fan and this was well.... it was what it was. Changmin part was bad on the high part and the RISE UP! did make me bend down... but i think that they did the best they could and also i have heard Changmin voice crack or be off tune at least once during the like 10 times they actually sang this song live.

i seriously think they are quite ignorant of the fact that none of them can pitch the high vocal parts.
the whole performance was so monotonous, the screaming parts of "RISE UP!" makes me want to sink down into a hole where their screams can be blocked out. probably i will RISE UP again when they go practice more?

this is classic. how dbsg fans enjoy dissing others just because. I'm ashamed at how you supposed 'fans' call yourselves just that- fans. absurd. I'm a huge fan of dbsg, but that doesn't warrant me a right to criticise. -shakes head- extremes, fans are. anyway, I think they weren't as terrible as so many had made them out to be. decent performances, obviously not comparable to dbsg, but we're talking about different levels of talent here.

-I guess this performance wasn't so bad (being nice here) considering they did this without professional help... but I've seen other people (not DBSK) perform better

It was off-putting that the RS dance was simplified waaay too much and that the vocals for that song weren't great, but I think some of the DBSK fans here are taking things a little too far.
Yes, it wasn't a faithful cover, but that's no reason to get SO OFFENDED AND ANGRY ARGH.

Oh yes, the question on why we DBSG fans are watching this? Its freaking because we heard that a group was doing two of DBSG's songs. And we stumbled here and saw how the "tribute" was. Boy, were we amazed.

soul cant be compared to dbsk cause those boys are professionally trained and they practice numerous hours everyday even falling sick and being admitted to the hospital. soul was only given a week so i believe they have aleady given their best.

oh dear. they really have a lot of bad comments on them. i just watched their perf on psc it got me really irritated. i tot they brought no justice to dbsk. babo was ok but rising sun was just O_o omg. horrendous. the moves were weird cause they didn't really fit the song but then i'd say they do have some originality rather than copying straight off dongbang. haha. i think they shld just stick to some other bands and not use dbsk. dbsk's standard is way off for them :x

yea i did find the "rising sun" parts really bad!
their dancing was ok especially since it was hard to dance on a X shaped stage.
finally the high notes that changmin sings are unique, no one can ever top that.
sadly to say that some of DBSG's rising sun performances may be lip synching BECAUSE its just too hard to have so much difficult dance moves and have breath to keep your voice steady at the same time. I AM A DBSG FAN but you gotta be realistic, they are only human.

Honestly, as proud as Singapore I am, I can't help but feel embarassed(?) for DBSK...these grp just butchered my favourite song. The Rise up part kills me >.< And for the Sha Gua(Fool), I had to close my ears at the high notes..they totally can't carry the song at all...Also, their dancing is average. Sorry to be so harsh but at least I don't lie like the judges. Seriously, they are either being hypocrites or have bad taste. However to end on a polite note, at least they dared to try.

jycevo: i think ur comment is wrong.. if we not professional judges are even able to state out those mistakes easily, that really mean that they are bad.. maybe those judges are letting them of and also they never heard of the song before... even if they did, it might just probably a few times.. which is maybe why they cant find out something bad about the performance..

it was an ok performance to me eventhough the rise up part turned me off.. but what do we expect from beginners? SOUL's fans should really accept the fact that they did a normal performance and not it was not that good.. i think they can improve.. and for the guy which has black fringe that cover his eyes.. his experession is really very very weird in babo.. thats the only thing i feel disgusted about in the whole clip..

babo sound off key in certain parts too... but chorus they were ok,maybe becoz they are singing in a group.. and the rising sun performance,the dancing is ok.. but i feel their singing lack of energy.. the chorus was nice until 'waiting for rising sun' that kind of killed the chorus coz there is not enuf power in it..

They are newbies compared to DBSK, and obviously, we ALL know that DBSK's live perfs are way better than this but give them a break. DBSK are SINGERS, this SOUL band aren't. Don't expect them to be better than DBSK. And some of you are saying how their performances SUCK, I think it's kinda mean to say that.

omg are you kidding me? why did people go there? i would see the live and original version of these songs anyday. (and junsu! XP)
i wonder what TVXQ would say when they see these. XP. their pronounciation might be better.. (iono. i'm not chinese) but their singing is quite off. i laughed throughout the whole thing. LOL.

haha i dont know what to say hahahah!! no offense to those who likes them, but they just arent that great. cant really judge them cuz this is the only performance by them that ive watched. their dance is alright, i wouldn't say its a disaster yet but omg .. their singing hahahah!! especially when they screamed "rise up" omg laughed my head off .. the crazy part is how one of the judge said they did a perfect performace?
