    HAMMER SMASHED FACE!!!

  • waaaa genial asme tuyoo

  • very cool style!,..you have to check out mine!

  • hi mom

  • How did you make this o_o ?

  • this zombie are you

  • There are a bunch of decent ones, you just have to play a lot. I like Round Camelhair as a main brush (in Oils? Or Artists Oils?). I make sure that it only grows in size a tiny bit with pen pressure. Sometimes I play with the "feature" number a touch, depending on how hairy I want the brush.

  • I already got painter 11. With a student discount it only cost me 20 bucks haha. The problem with painter is...I'm not quite sure which brush to use. Painting with photoshop is just a lot easier.

For instance, painting with oil brush in Painter doesn't always feels like using a real oil brush. It's less predictable, and it's harder to control the direction, shape, etc. I don't know if I should be using other brushes instead, or there's something I could adjust...

  • he dont have hair or skin but he still have a cap? Apocalypse sux

  • I LOVE THIS...

I would do anything for a printed photo of this... I'd frame it.

    It's amazing!

  • that zombie looks like my older brother when he jumped out of a car and broke his arm. literally xD

  • corel painter is AWESOME!

  • Hi! I'm thinking about Getting Corel Painter Sometime around Christmas, but i have a Question to ask.

First, I'm looking into this Fab going around on Art Sites called Adoptables. What i would need from a program is.

Being Able to save Lineart + Shading, Can Corel Painter do this? Also what Tablet would you recommend. Thanks >A< Because i'm confused weither i should personally draw my Attention to Photoshop or not.. I always preferred Corel.

  • @Adenk0 Most digital painting apps can do this using layers to separate elements. Lots of tutorials on line focus on that very thing. Good luck.

  • @markbehm So, As assumed i got Corel Painter, And the issue i'm having with all brushes is that they have a Pixely edge.. How do you fix this >_>?

  • @Adenk0 Not all painter brushes use antialiasing. Play w different ones. Other things to try: Make sure you have the checkbox that says something like "mix/blend with other layers" ON in the layers dialog. This has the affect closer to painting directly on the canvas. It will, however, pick up the underlying colors onto the edge to mix colors, making it hard to paint behind it later.

  • @Adenk0 many of the programs are good at different things, there might be one thing where photoshop is better and one thing where corel painter is better. many artists use alot of programs when they paint digitally, for example they might do the line art in paint tool SAI and the colors in corel and finishing effects in photoshop. I think its hard to determine which program is superior to the other when they're kind of good at different things. hope this helped :)

  • Это не Пэинт а фотошоп!

  • Cool! You drew a picture of Justin Bieber :)

  • Leo -Need To Get Fat-: il have to go to bed at 10:30pm

  • @artaddict778 I told him it would be "tasteful"

  • does photoshop come with that lighter thing?

  • @scorpia733 Fraid I don't know quite what you mean by lighter thing.

  • @markbehm you know when you draw over say a black bit it goes a lighter shade? well if you do does photoshop cs3 or any other photoshop have it

  • @scorpia733 Just a couple brushes. Might look stranger than it is.

  • looks like my brother when hes wasted XD

I normally use acrylic opaque detail brush but it just looks...different

  • This is awesome!!! I like that song... good work bro..

  • did you use a drawpad? ore used youre mouse?

what is the song plz ?

  • It's called:

    Blah Blah Blah

    by:

    Say Hi to Your Mom

  • thanks you! =)

  • Which program is better? Photoshop or corel??

  • Which is better? A hammer or a screwdriver?

    There is no better.

  • I use both

  • @xpeterdudex I am not very good with Corel but I believe they each have their own unique tools that can work well depending on the person using them. Many people use both programs, corel for its brushes and Photoshop for its more technical aspects. If you are used to traditional painting and wish to mimic traditional media you may want to try Corel. If you're nit-picky like I am and want to do more technical things like graphic design, or use vector elements in a raster program, go with PS.

  • the Corel Painter X is awesome.

  • very cool! I would really like to blow your zombies head off

  • Wtf I love say hi...

  • this song freak me out! xD ZOMBIE FAGOT xD btw 5/5+subscreed 4 your work dude ;-) good work

  • somebody knows the name of the song? Please.

  • Song : blah blah blah

Artist : Say Hi To Your Mom

  • Hmm. I wonder how he managed to keep that hat on longer than his left hand...

    5/5

  • he got infected with the hat, and was shot by a survivor who was armed with a nail gun...

  • this is fucking good i like it

  • awesome. why do you flip the canvas back and forth?

  • To get a fresh look. Painters have flipped their work upside-down or used a mirror/black glass for hundreds of years.

  • i rotate my paper when i draw

  • weird music

  • Can't remember. One of these: colorize, color or overlay.

  • what mode did you use on 1.00 ?

  • SUCKS MOST HORRIBLE DRAWING I HAVE SEEN IN MY LIFE!!! XD jk jk JK lol its awesome dude

  • lol

  • yea... wait wtf why do i have three thumb downs? i said jk three times at ending

  • People get more and more stupid these days

  • so true thats why us smart ppl must read full messages before thumbing them or replying them

  • cause people take crap to seriously these days it really sucks

  • i don't mean the drawing i was replying to narutogenius

  • or the wrong way

  • omfg, tell me about it, i get tired of that bull crap

  • Looks sorta like earthworm jim...

Only much more awesome :) good stuff

  • I love your work and the songs you use.

  • Hi mark could you help me with some tips? Im starting with painter and I find it kinda hard to use, for example what kind of brushes do you use? oils, acrilycs, etc? Im looking for that undefined texture and I dont know how, I will appreciate any answer. Thanks a lot!

  • EHMAGRAPES

  • Why are you not more famous on youtube? This is incredible...

  • Did you already have the piece sketched out or drawn then upload and put it on Painter?

  • Drawn in painter. Something went wrong with the first bit of recording.

  • Your zombie is awesome and the photoshop skills rock. If you want to see great performance painting of a zombie check out - Duane E Smith. He is also great and the painting was done in less then 15 minutes.

  • jeez man, calm the swearing will you

  • Hah, nice. Some redneck hill billy zombie :P

I love the style man, keep it up!

Ps: Why people always asking for what brushes we use? It aint that important for a real artist.

  • Very good. It´s nice of you to show a glimpse of how you use the layers.

  • read my first reply

  • What kind of brush?

  • Impressive... Very Impressive... AWESOME!

  • no dissrespecting but to me that looks like a

ghoul!! =p btw its a great painting!!

  • Fucking sick piece, man.

  • impressive.

  • What is is this song called? anybody know?

  • It's in the description.

  • wow! baseball hats and zombies combined remind be of a hillbilly car accident

  • wow very nice!! i just purchased painter, and what brush did you use to paint this.. mine turn out like kiddy drawings.. so much different compared to photoshop.

  • Is there a place too look at a bigger completed painting?

  • Try this: In the layers palette, click on preserve transparency and the turn it off again. I've seen a bug where it starts on, but isn't showing as on.

  • well first of all well done... I've got a small problem with Painter. I'm new to it but I have a problem with layers. When I create new layers (normal, watercolor, liquid), no brush works on it. The only place where the brushes work are only on the background Canvas. Can you please explain me what to do? What could be the problem?

Your help is much appreciated since you seem to be very confident with Painter!

    Thanks amd well done!!

  • Have to disagree. Proportions come down to taste, and give a picture its mood. In this case the proportions definitely worked for me.

  • its a zombie its supposed to be disproportionate but even for a zombie its proportions are pretty well done

  • Right on brother :-)

  • this is just awesome!

  • That's awesome! Truly an inspiration.

  • ivanisavich: You can use a "color" layer, or multiply, colorize, gel, overlay, etc.

slamiwax: brushes - prolly camelhair, airbrush, maybe a wet acrylic for this too. Can't remember.

  • how r u able to color it, without your sketched lines disappearing

  • Totally insane! :D gj

  • awesome!! what kind of brush do you use!?

  • Awesome

And I am gonna drink your blood...

  • people like you should be kept in pixar or disney or nelvana........seriously

  • Awesomse....I love your style!
