Fact 1 : Most Irish will never forgive the british state for its genocide and theft

Fact 2 : Most Irish people dont hold any grudge against normal British people, they are not responcible.

Fact 3 : Having three british people talking about whats right and wrong for Irish people is insulting and arogant.

Fact 4 : You still occupy my country , we will never forget it. Either with peace or other we will have it back and there isnt any other way it can go.

@kargwain187 Fact 3.. they are talking about what the british should do, not what the Irish should do. Fact 4.. Its not an occupation..as soon as the majority of Northern Irish people wish to become a part of Ireland again it WILL happen.

I am a great admirer of Mr Galloway, but as a NI Unionst I can't help but feel he oversimplifies Irish history from the point of Carson/Connelly. Ireland never had a Referendum in 21 i had a general election which showed the clear difference in what would become the two states. NE Ulster was different Religiously, Culturally, Politically and Economically. Irish Protestants feared for their lives in what would be a Catholic theocracy. Hence the Unionist resistance. As the ref' in 98 upheld

David Cameron "had the guts to apologise" for the potato famine??? What an ignorant, insensitive comment. How can this man somehow try to equate an apology for a heinous crime and treatment of the irish people to an act of bravery for saying sorry for it and admiting wrongdoing. Ridiculous.

Who is this bastard of a colonel on who speaks for the Irish people! The fact of the matter is that the majority of Irish people have NOT embraced the queens visit at all.In fact,they have been completely separated and its only been institutions like the GAA that have been involved.Money talks,its as simple as that. It seems apparent that the British are so arrogant that they cannot even accept their evil history.I agree that time moves on, But apologies should be clear not suggestive.
