Again, a very impressively-done presentation, especially if you're as young as you sound. I'm 2 days into my Hipstamatic purchase and my impression of it has really superseded my expectations, especially from a photographer's point of view! One thing, though… I'm having trouble understanding why randomizing the settings (the shaking notwithstanding) should be viewed as such a cool feature… Nevertheless, thanks for your presentation!

if you restore your iphone/ipod touch you lose the data right? well i have bought all the lenses on hipstamatic and if i take it off and put it back on again will i lose the lenses????? :D

@DotsProductions everything you buy through the app store is restored. technically you buy the lenses and the packs through the app store as well. if you reinstall the app and you see "buy" on the packs, when you click buy, it will tell you they have already been purchased and all you have to do is download.

Whether I tap on the camera back or front in the settings mode, it always loads the back. I cannot change the lens settings. I have an iPhone 3GS. Anyone else have any issue like this?

@YKuserReply you can't take front pictures with the 3GS, it's only with iPhone 4, that's why it doesn't work.

I've seen this app promoted in some pretty major places, so I decided to buy it. I could not figure it out without consulting one of these videos, so thanks to this youngster for the nice explanation. Now that I've seen it, I like the design of the app, now that I know how to use it, and I like the idea of mixing the various photo elements to make photos take on a new look, also shaking the phone to get new settings is also great. The only thing I dont' like much is the way the photos look!!

Think of it like the App Store. If you buy an app and download it, then restore your device, you can re-download it for free. Since you have to go through the App Store to get the in-app purchases, it works just about the same way.

@insanj You are very professional in your videos. You sound young, but I like the tones of your voice, for (What it sounds like) your age you sound very good in your videos. I do have to say though avoid using things like "I think" make sure you KNOW before the video. Just some friendly advice.

@insanj Also, You WILL get crap about your voice on your vids, but ignore those people. You make nice videos, just remember the key "Short, sweet, simple, informative" and keep the video focussed well (Avoid moving the device too much). It would be helpful if you displayed the price at the end pro's and con's in something people can read (Maybe you reading it in the background) just some suggestions but do your thing.
