Well this is a crazy wacky happenstance! I think I made the vid that inspired you to create this way back in 2003. Mine only went so far as "Oh no the RCMP is not the life for me" and then stopped because there was a limited amount of Due South DVD footage at the time. And it does seem that someone has uploaded my vid to youtube without my knowledge. Very chuffed if my little vidlet was your inspiration! I always wanted to go back and do the full song but never got around to it. :)

I found this video on searching for "ride forever", and i love it. It's really funny :), even if you just know this show - and seriously nothing more about the RCMP (exept Wikipedia, and some children books). But I'm living very far away from Canada - unfortunately.

But because of this show, I want to travel to Canada. ;)

He first travelled to Chicago on the trail of the killers of his father and for complicated reasons, such as an ecological conspiracy involving many high ranking Canadian officials and many caribou mysteriously drowned on dry land he remained; attached as liaison to the Canadian consulate. He has a deaf wolf for a companion and he likes to lick things that other people wouldn't touch.

it's from season 4, episode 11 if my memory serves my right ("hunting season" or something like this)

Meg suspends Fraser because he did not catch a murder suspect as she was passing right beside them and getting out of the consulate like, not even running away (Fraser was just watching the she-suspect leaving without doing anything, but he had reasons Meg did not know... watch it, you'll understand :P)

@egdqv13234 The Red Serge (the proper name for the red uniform) is a dress uniform usually only worn for formal ceremony. The regular uniform is the brown one. Source: I am Canadian. The reason Constable Fraser mostly wears the Red Serge on the show is because it was designed for international broadcast and the uniform is more recognizable to non-Canadians.
