the reason that one of the solos has only chords for the guitarist is that the solo was played by cliff on bass with the use of, I believe, a whammy pedal, or something similar. No, its not like a wammy bar... at all, but its equally as cool, if not more so.

The "more complicated guitar solos" are actually bass solos. A lot of ppl mistake them for guitar solos but this song actually emphasizes more on bass and on Cliff's epic ability as a bassist. Not as good as Anesthesia (Pulling Teeth) but still an epic piece by Cliff
