I have seen many good actress, many excellent ones, but no face like Garbo has ever been in front of a camera, she had a unique mysterious quality and power that I have never experienced. This lady had a special power that became radioactive in front of a camera and hypnotized you.

I totally agree. The number one screen-goddess of all time. She was a case-study in the beauty and allure of woman. She transfixed and bewitched us all. She really was unattainable, unreachable and it made us desire her even more. Like a carousel she gave us a flicker of the possibilities, secrets and warmth that was in her soul and just as quick, it was gone. And we waited, waited for it to become back round again; each time hoping we'd glean something more from the hidden depths. We never did.
Miss Garbo....you were the greatest of them all....the wisdom in your every nuanced movement....the masterful control.....the shoulders of Aphrodite....GODDESS !!
