Emmulating someone elses work is the untimate compliment as long as you stick as close to the original and don't start doing stupid remix techno or rap crap in the song. I hear what you are saying sammy, but some people come on to criticize for reasons only known to them. People are entitles to their own opinions, but if something is someones opinion it is'nt being disrepesctful if that is how they truly feel. Whereas this version appears more celtic - nothing wrong but differnt interpretation, there is less nuances in this version- very high low, I guess it depends on your taste and culture. But it takes a lot of guts to redo a songs Ronstadt has already done.
