I have flat feet, accessory naviculars in both feet, and constant lower back pain. My doctors recommend surgery for the accessory navicular and special insoles for the flat feet. Would regular chiropractic adjustments even be worth my time without the recommended surgery et al?
@inasez Thank you for your comment! The first problem is when you say doctor, it appears you're seeing a medical doctor for problems that they know nothing about. Similarly, I wouldn't advise you on medications or surgical procedures. If I were you, I'd get to a Chiropractor, get examined, and take it from there. Find a Chiro that specializes in extremities, and muscle balancing also. If you have bones/joints in your feet that are not moving well, and adjustment will definitely help!
@ActiveHealthClinic My last doctor was of the opinion that my lower back pain is mostly caused by my flat footedness and improper posture and he recommended a foot and ankle specialist to eval possible surgery for the accessory naviculars that also cause me foot pain and gait issues. I had originally went to him to discuss whether a breast reduction would solve my back pain (a whole 'nother story), but he seems to think its an overall posture and foot issue. I will see a chiro, thanks!!
@CookieXBagel Thanks for the comment! It does feel great. What feels so good is when you put the body back where it's supposed to be so it can move the way its supposed to. Spread the word about what we're doing! Thanks!
@OhMaDayzz Thank you for your comment. Children can have their feet checked and adjusted if necessary as early as 2-3 years old. When we check the feet, we are looking for joints that don't move properly (subluxation), and we put motion into that joint to restore normal motion (the adjustment). There are no age restrictions on adjusting.
@KiwiHorseProductions Thanks for the comment! Yes, absolutely. When the feet don't move properly, the bones get stuck (subluxation) and need adjusting. Get yourself to a Chiropractor!
now i just need to get the pinched nerve in my big toe that was there before to relax. any suggestions for that? this happened from being out of alignment too long i think.
@MosesHightower I can't diagnose or treat through the internet, although you may see yourself feeling a lot better after visiting a trained Chiropractor. Your toe pain may be coming from the nerves in your low back, or from a peripheral entrapment, possibly the foot itself. Remember, you're watching an adjusting tutorial-to show people how a well trained Chiropractor who is great at extremity adjusting performs the adjustment. I hope you're able to see a D.C. and feel better. Thanks!
wow, thank you so much for posting this vid! i can finally run again without limping! my 2nd metatarsal & big toe joints were out. i have trying for a while to adjust the big toe upward like that and it wouldn't move until i grabbed it the way you did and i heard it gently pop upon adjusting. the 2nd metatarsal was causing pain in the big toe rather than on the joint directly. both adjustments felt great and now my toe joint is totally relaxed & pain free :) thank you!!
@MosesHightower Thank you for your comment and you're welcome. I must tell you though, that this is not a "self-adjusting" tutorial, as that is impossible. You can attempt to "adjust" your own joints, but that defeats the purpose of an adjustment-taking a joint just beyond the para-physiological joint motion and delivering a specific thrust. I'm glad you feel better, but when you try to adjust a joint by yourself, you only stretch the ligaments. See a Chiropractor.
@AHC - i totally understand & agree. i do have a chiro locally who i see that is amazing & is the only one i've seen who is able to adjust all the other misalignments i've had. the last time i saw him though he was not able to adjust the toe - he just couldn't get any movement and the pain was too much to deal with. i literally got these to move on the first attempt after watching your methods so i don't feel any harm was done. everything else is aligned now so i do feel it's a pinched nerve.
@skitzo429 Thanks for your comment! It feels great to get adjusted! Especially the feet, which have 26 bones that move (or should move). See your local Chiropractor today! Thanks for spreading the word!!
@onyxcrush Thanks for your comment! You should see a Chiropractor! A podiatrist is a medical doctor that focuses on the feet, and mainly on pathology, or structure, opposed to function. The few podiatrists that I have seen that focus on function, prescribe rigid orthotics, which is a no-no for the feet. Go to a podiatrist if you need foot surgery or medicine for your feet. Go to a Chiropractor when you need your feet adjusted and balance restored.
@RedTailedTuna Thank you for your comment! Adjusting is a skill taught in school at a basic to moderately proficient level, and some choose to develop it and practice it. I can only tell you that it was and is very important to me to be able to help others, and the more tools I have, the better.
Wondering if this would would be all right with psoriatic arthritis in the subtalar? Currently post high ankle sprain with rupured anterior tiniofibular ligament and other ligament injuries that are not healing well. Have sprain both ankles twice prior and now use rigid AFO's to walk without pain.
@bbaker904 Sorry, bad typing. Post high ankle sprain. Anterior tibiofibular ligament rupture, Talofibular ligament tear. Multiple other sprained ligaments. Have psoriatic arthritis and can hardly walk without pain. Using bilateral rigid afo's.
@bbaker904 Thank you for your comments! While I can't give you a treatment plan online, it's likely that this would help. Remember a few things: Arthritis is INFLAMMATION-which means fluids are accumulating, and they need to MOVE out of the area. Also, psoriatic arthritis is an auto-immune inflammatory disease, so there are many things that you can do to reduce the inflammation, such as modify your diet and exercise.
@bbaker904 Multiple sprains suggests poor ligament health, a likely side effect of adrenal stress, which makes sense if you have an autoimmune condition. Also, poor healing usually involves the adrenals. You need to get to a doctor that can both adjust you and help you nutritionally. Get adjusted!
@ActiveHealthClinic Thanks for writting back. Can't adjust diet. Also have colitis and on a stricked diet. Allergic to latex related foods and chocolate.
@bbaker904 You're welcome! If you saw what I wrote, I talked about adrenal stress. No one is allergic to chocolate unless there adrenal glands can't handle sugar and cocoa. Milk isn't good for you anyways, and sugar is like a drug...But...All things in moderation my friend. Adrenal stress is a killer. Read the book Paleo Diet, or Body by Rey. The reason you have those is likely because of diet in the first place. Best of Luck!
@ActiveHealthClinic Ok let's stop here. My adrenal system is fine. I went threw pancreatic tumor sugery last year so know that for sure. I don't believe in the diest changes anymore. I've had the colitis since a child and arthritis since mid 20's and have tried nearly every diet out there. Many make my colitis explode. My main question was if it is safe to adjust with the arthritis I have. But diet changes are not welcome suggestions.Thank you anyway and goodbye.
@tvloonie111 Thanks for your comment! I just looked them up online, as I have never heard about or seen them before. It appears to be a decent way to stretch and straighten you toes, which would I would liken to taping the feet with Kinesiotape and adjusting them. The question is, do your toes need stretching and straightening, or is there a problem with your rear-foot, mid-foot or fore-foot? May be worth a try.
hey doc. . . . does this adjustmen help for sprained ankles . . . .about 4 weeks ago i sprained my ankle and i felt it pop. i was able to walk just that i got really swollen and purple. now that the swelling is gone my ankle looks weird looks inward. can an adjustment like this help me out?
@msjj76 Thanks J! That's IT! It feels good to have a healthy functioning nervous system and it certainly feels great when your feet move well! I love getting adjusted!
To "drsoandso," your name pretty much says a LOT about you. There is no mention of spinal subluxation or innate intelligence, but apparently you are projecting your thoughts, feelings and emotions onto a perfectly decent extremity adjusting tutorial. Seriously, about 19,808 people/views (at this moment) find this video helpful, yet your channel has 290 total views. Handle your business before you go talking about other peoples. You keep on being "soandso" and I'll be ME, making contributions.
Thanks for the comments guys! Always new videos coming out...stay tuned. Just make sure your spreading the word that people MUST get their spine (and extremities) checked for Subluxation-so we can remove it and allow the body to function at its optimal level.

I can't say whether someone else will hurt you or not. What I can tell you is that foot adjusting is taught in Chiropractic college, but many doctors don't spend much time learning it.
