  • I'm SO down for this westside extension.

    Go metro!

  • That, and going to Union is a pain from UCLA. The bus takes the longest, and with a line that goes straight to union from UCLA, it would be one short (~40 min) rail ride there.

  • Yes, but the 720 is a bus. That means it runs in traffic. That means when the traffic is slow, the bus is slow. The Metro trains run at 85 mph - regardless of traffic. Hello?

  • The Future Is Now. Can't wait to use the future Rancho Cucamonga Metro Gold Line station. Switch trains at Union Station and take the Subway to the sea. High Speed Rail Station and Maglev are planned for the LA/ONTARIO Airport to link all metro areas including Las Vegas. California here I come. I wish they would've chosen the historic pacific electric route for the Metro Gold Line Extension through Cucamonga. Instead they chose a more direct route to the airport missing major activity centers.

  • @DCFilmsStudio what I was trying to say is that angelinos don't think public transportation is an option.

The 720 runs parallel to the proposed purple line, it's available for use TODAY not years from now.

  • What upsets me, is that everyone is interested in an underground subway, and completely disregard the bus system. Have you been on the 720?

  • it couldn't be built too early. i need it now.

  • Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. The only thing bad about this subway is that it wasn't built 15 years ago. So glad it's going to happen!
