  • Also shelby an interesting thing about dairy is that is actually strips your body of calcium, our bodies use calcium to process it

In america most of the population has dairy on a regular basis, its an accepted fact that as you get older you will probably have osteoporosis

but in many poorer countries in asia for example, where they live off of grains and legumes (anything that as a pod like peas, green beans and beans) osteoporosis is only found in richer people who consume dairy regularily

  • Oooo! GREAT video! THANK YOU for making this! :)

  • .I come from a community of vegans ,vegeterians and organic meat eaters who eat meat in moderation in addition to fruit/veg and acctualy vegans suffer a lot, they look sicker , age at simmilar rate, also some get alzhemer's at old age my aunt is an example , other vegans that do beter on their diet eat hudge amounts of fruit and they must be always so carefull to get the right amounts of nutrients in that it becomes a almost a religion to them , the longest living are the moderate meat eaters

  • Fuck vegans!

  • @ZR1Terror No thank you.

  • Unless you get hit by a bus your going to live 20 years longer? LMAO

    Whatever you say.

  • I love being a vegan...and the dude in this video is cute

  • Hi, im a vegan, i went vegan when i was 18 but strangely enough i had no idea it was better for you until i did it, and did the research, before then i did believe we needed meat, but i feel a lot better now than i ever did. I don't know where there are people who went vegan because "animals are pretty" but i know a few who did because they thought what the industry puts animals through is cruel and inhumane. I fiind it annoying everyone associates veganism with peta, i hate peta...

  • Two reasons. First ALOT of vegans/veggies I have meet in my life have been the stuff it down your throat, they are right kinda people, not like you. I wouldn't want to stand for that. And it takes to much time, and I hate cooking. I eat meat 2-3 times a week and have a dairy product at least everyday. I may change when I get older, but I've grown 7 inches in a year, maybe more, and I need the energy.

  • what if they/we went back to how it used to be?

what if you are allergic to a lot of foods?

  • Consuming meat and animal products, I used to alternate between severe, painful constipation and diarrhea.

After becoming vegan, I poop 2 hours after I wake up every morning, and sometimes right before I go to bed. It's like clockwork, I could set my watch by it, if I wore a watch.

I used to have lots of phlegm every morning, I'd have to take long showers and drink hot tea to loosen it up every morning. Now, it's completely gone.

I don't do it for the animals, I do it for me and the earth.

  • @UpdatesBlow We have a colone that is neither that of a carnivore nor that of a herbivore, we have a colone that's perfectly in between and can digest both. To be exact, our whole body is constructed to have a diet consisting of meat as well as plants, though for some reason we can't digest plants as good as meat.

  • Vegan diets make you really manly after they make you impotent through estrogene consumption through soy and the radical reduction of testosterone intake C:

  • @Mupyeong You really should research before you make such silly comments.

  • @ZenCodeMonkey I researched what's in soy, 98% of the soy are genetically altered and cause diseases, not to mention are full of estrogene and already known to have made farm animals impotent. And too much estrogene intake can still make men impotent. Look, if you didn't read it out, that was a sarcastic statement. I used hyperboles to underline my opinion that is based on documentations on soy and vegetarianism. Thanks.

  • vegan burgers are yummy and veggie food is super healthy and good! :)

  • Telling people that eating meat is bad is as dumb as saying that eating plants is bad. You cannot argue against the benefits of eating meat without ignoring 2 million years of evolution. Vegans never want to tackle the subject of our evolution because thats where their "facts" and arguments start to unravel.

  • All these morons can say what they will, but the fact remains: our digestive tracts are IN FACT designed to primarily to process animal protein. Everybody likes to argue over this little factoid or that little factoid but the FACT remains that the evolution of the Homo Sapien species was characterized by predation. We evolved as flesh eating predators and not grazing cows.

  • @gurumagoo

Actually, your statement is false. I am a diabetic and I have been doing a lot of research in trying to improve my health. A book I am reading, "reversing Diabetes" points out some interesting facts contrary to your statement. It specifies some traits of carnivores and herbivores compared to humans. Canivores have sharp teeth acidic stomachs and short intestinal system. Herbavores have blunt teeth, less acidic stomachs and long intestines. Which category do humans fall under?

  • @icemon440 What you say might be true if humans needed claws and teeth to catch their prey and powerful stomach acids to digest them. LOL! You forget that humans have evolved for at least 1 MILLION years alongside their technology. We have been using fire for more than a million years and tools for over 2 million years. Tools as you might guess negate the need to have sharp teeth and claws; and fire negates the need to have strong stomach acid.

  • @icemon440 Every credible and respected anthropologist in the world will tell you that the earliest hominids lived as scavengers. The first stone tools allowed them to break the bones left behind by predators to extract the marrow inside. This influx of protein in our diets is what allowed for the development of the human brain. After that, with the resulting birth of more complex technologies and the manipulation of fire, scavenging turned into active predation.

  • @icemon440 That fact that you are here and able to consider this issue at all, is a direct result of eating flesh. The remains of hominid predation have been found at sites all over Europe, Africa, and Asia. Bones showing the marks left by stone tools and the carbonization left by fire, are extremely common. The richest sources of these tools are found along still existant animal migration routes indicating that early humans followed herds.

  • @icemon440 Somehow I doubt they were following herds to get a place in line at the salad bar. LOL Human predation as central to human evolution is not an opinion or a theory; it is a FACT. The fact that our early ancestors were largely herbivores is irrelevant as the fossil record shows many instances of carnivores and omnivores evolving from herbivores and vice versa. Humans evolved as omnivores for a reason. It wasn't an accident. That diet allowed us to thrive.

  • Animals do feel pain. So it's wrong to acknowledge that and care and make my decisions on that? I'd be more respected if I kill them for fun but not eat them? That makes me a hippie dippie? I'll go now and get a haircut then...

  • Fats re-solidifying would only matter if your digestive system just dumped its contents into the circulatory system. It doesn't. The fats are completely broken down to be transported. Yes, too much fat of certain types increases fat and cholesterol in the blood and causes problems. But its not simply flowing into the blood stream and getting stuck.

Almost all of the food I eat is solid at body temperature. That doesn't mean an apple chunk is going to get stuck in a heart valve.

  • broccoli is solid at room. does that mean that it re-solidifies in our bodies... give me a break our body can break fats down into an energy source just like an other calorie source

  • @ChasinTranes You're right, but digestion is more taxing when it's energy from animal sources. When you eat plant proteins/nutrients (especially in their raw form) they get distributed into your cells almost instantly. Look up the research done on spirulina.

  • Although being a veggie is generally thought to be good for you, for men eating nothing but soya (a shitty alternative for most vegetarian and vegan fags) can increase the risk of losing one's meat. Soya contains a chemical known as genistein which is very similar to oestrogen, a major female hormone. As any good transexual knows, men who receive female hormones begin to take on female traits such as titties, genital bleeding (usually after his dick falls off), and eventually, a mangina.

  • GREAT!!!!

    CONGRATULATIONS FOR THIS VIDEO!!!

  • Well, that resolidifying bit is a little ridiculous. That's what digestive acids are for, they break down the food. The fat does not get in your brain or sperm bank. However, it is almost impossible to consume "bad fat" from non-animal products. The bad fat does clog arteries and higher risk of a heart attack or stroke because of blood flow. But animal fat is higher in cholesterol, that is not the same thing as resollidifying. The acids counteract the temperature. Veganism still healtheir, though

  • @DarkAngel0125 The bad fats are fats in general if you eat too much of them. And every fat does it's own part in the body. The body can NOT break down all parts of plants because we don't have the enzymes for that!

  • This video is a lot more convincing then the other whiny post from your fellow vegetarians.

  • Great book out called...'meat is for pussies'.. read it if you can...itll blow your mind..

  • i dont believe we need protein calcium etc to be healthy, its all a scam to sell products at least i believe, also im a vegetarian n i did it for myself, not the animals, i want to be vegan, gotta stop eating cheese

  • steak literally pumps up my muscles after I eat it. If it doesnt for you, your genetics suck. musts suck being you then.

  • @xTheFormlessOneIGF1 the guys a fuckin faggot or has cystic fibrosis lol

  • @365to173repubsPWNED

    lol nice

  • @365to173repubsPWNED keep eating pigs' anus and cow pus then you dumb pussy

  • @chrisnoaro1 Dumb Pussy....quite a conclusion given what I said in my comment.

  • Veganism is dumb. It's denial of things you want when you don't need to deny yourself them without sacrificing health. Everything in moderation.

  • @365to173repubsPWNED do you drink poison in moderation? animal products are toxic to the human body. even small amounts of animal products show increases in incidence of cancer

  • @chrisnoaro1 Do I want to drink poison? Does it taste like heaven? Are there people who dedicate their entire lives to perfecting its seasoning and cooking? Do people from the poorest to the most elite enjoy its savory flavor and does it make them happy? If so for poison....then that's weird.

  • @365to173repubsPWNED you're a weak addict, go cold turkey

  • @chrisnoaro1 I don't particularly care if you don't eat meat. Certainly I don't care enough to call you names like "addict" that you call me. But if you WANT to...and don't for health reasons (by which I mean if it had no bad health effects in your eyes you'd eat it)...than that's just stupid. I guarantee you I'm in better physical shape than you are (6.4% body fat, 4:34 mile time)...and I eat like a carnivore...

  • @365to173repubsPWNED Many animal foods hav been scientifically proven to have addictive qualities - dairy, e.g., has caso-morphein, serving an evolutionary role in keeping the calf near the cow. So not really calling names, just general state of affairs for most people on western diet. Many of the ill effects of eating animal flesh & secretions are medium to long term - a mountain of studies connect animal protein, cholesterol & fat with cancer & heart disease - plant foods don't cause disease!

  • @chrisnoaro1 Addict is a loaded word. Its also a complete non sequitur to say because the food I eat has addictive elements that I'm an addict. I'm not offended by you calling me an addict in the slightest. Go ahead and do so, I'm just saying its more evidence of the foolishness of indignation of people towards meat eaters. I'm sure it causes cancer ceteris paribus, but other factors can offset that, which you fail to mention.

  • @365to173repubsPWNED There is good reason to be indignant about meat eating, and foolishness is in their domain

  • i made fun of vegetarians too...the wages of sin is death...heard that before. Vegan-ism is totally powerful for your body. As a martial artist I am very strong and recover quickly from training. Sexually, I got huge extra power from being vegan, and the ladies say the vegan cream tastes great...lolz it's awesome. BTW i meet huge, monster big Indian dudes in Asia...all vegetarian or vegan...how long? 5000 years, that's a long time to be eating on the 'program'

  • it's very simple if meat eaters can't make a case for murder, rape and torture, followed from allowing for their immoral action of eating meat then they are unreasonable and certainly not as superior as they think they are.

  • As a vegan people ask me all the time where do I get my protein and calcium. I tell them I get my protein and calcium from the same place elephants and cows get theirs.....vegetation....and who needs protein and calcium more than elephants and cows? It's so easy being vegan. I feel better, weigh less, have more energy, have not had so much as a cold in I can't remember when, spend MUCH less at the grocery store.

  • Hey i agree 110% with everything you are saying, its people like you who make a difference ..I have been a vegan my entire life, I could picture been any other way. I am now pening a vegan Restaurant here in new zealand..Keep up the good work

  • You are probably the only legit vegetarian in the whole world, nice try but im not converting

  • @TEpro125 Converting? Interesting perspective. If you were raised not eating meat, would you one day kill an animal and eat its corpse, or would you find that as repulsive as eating dog shit?

Or is it natural? Licking your own asshole is natural, animals do that too. So is screwing your siblings, killing your parents, and rolling in feces or dead animals for a perfume.

So why don't you do those, have you lost your way?

  • @deefromott you're funny i love you

  • @TEpro125 you're dismissed.

  • nice vid dude, thanks for the info

  • your awesome. :)

  • i'm the exact opposite. my body runs very, VERY poorly without tons of protein and bcaa's. such as EXTREME heart-burn lethargicness and overall weakness. my overall athletic performance is probably at a 40% disadvantage if i dont huge amounts of complex carbs and protien (around 200g) a day. I think somebodies diet should reflect their goals, not other peoples standards. so if you want to be a vegan, that awesome, but dont look down on us who have chosen to be predators.

  • @phaedruslive You can get that amount of protein (and carbs) from beans and grains. They have much more protein than most people need. Meat has just as much fat as protein; and no carbs.

  • @Gary1111001 science aside, i can tell you my recovery time without meat is easily 3-5 days. i've learned to balance my diet with lots of raw greens, but I know i could not conistantly move weight for 2hours a day 6 days a week without testosterone rich meats. if i do eat correctly (for bodybuilding at least) i can be back in the gym the next morning with only a faint amount of muscle soreness.

  • @phaedruslive

have you tried that for over a week? alot of those symptoms are just you're body detoxing what you have eaten your whole life. Many athletes AND bodybuilders are starting to realize that Vegan and Raw foods is the way to go. Much better for performance and mental clarity.

  • @phaedruslive predators? you probably get your meat from H-E-B...

  • Hi there, I'm a vegan and I applaud your video which is mostly based on common sense and yes research is key, people, why don't you do some research and you get to choose!

Give yourself the option, it's your life after all

  • ive done my research animals taste good thats all i need to know

  • @TRIP123567 Great research there buddy. Try again when you a) mature or b) get an education.

  • I do hate animals, mainly humans, but I'm close to being vegan.

  • @HybridD91 Do what I did to push yourself over that last hurdle: subject yourself to countless horrendous undercover videos from the milk and egg industries. I watched so many that no matter what excuses I made to myself I simply couldn't justify it.

  • thanks for making video about VEGAN!!! GO VEGANS!!!! two thumps up!!!!

  • great video!!! being vegan is way healthier. like you said it doesn't have to be for animals, it's for oneself. meat takes enormous amount of energy to digest, when that same energy could be going for healing, or other things in life. people should try it for a month before judging. 1LOVE!!!

  • are you fuckin retarded? keep thinking marbles, man

  • This is a very informative video, well done! I admit I went veg for moral reasons (yup, I'm an animals-are-pretty person lol) and see my health as a plus, but it's really nice to see meat.eaters do some intelligent research and make a wise decision! I hope a lot of people watch this. good for you!

  • I coudl be a vegan but I doubt I could go without eggs I love eggs too much D:

  • sure doesn't stop cows from being powerful and living without meat

  • I'm surprised you kept that Austrian guy attached to your video. He is obviously angry and hateful and can't stand the fact that he can't stop his addiction to meat.

    He's an anti-vegan troll.

  • @GayVeganAtheist wow. are you?

  • I'm on a vegan diet and the only 'bad thing' I consume is too much Grolsch (lager) at the weekend. I've decided to quit.

  • You don't need to 'combine' vegetarian foods to get a complete protein. As long as you're eating a varied diet you will get enough protein. I prefer pasta, rice, vegetables, whole grain bread, fruit, and a large variety of vegan foods including almost everything under the sun!

  • meat, which contains cholesterol and large amounts of saturated fat, clogs your arteries, and causes cancer to grow. go ahead and eat it, it's your body!

  • @chadpopstar arterial plaque is primarily composed of unsaturated fats

  • I eat meat and don't have this problem but my wife is a vegan after she gets taking a dump can serious take the paint off the walls...when she breaks wind oh my god. The doctor says if you eat just lettuce and fruits that cleans you out. Now if i eat a bowl of salad in one hour i am looking for a toilet. Does that ever go away. Does your body just finally adjust just takes years to do. Cause i don't have that problem and i eat more red meat and greasy food then you should.

  • I eat only fruits (of all kinds, but few fatty ones), leafy greens, and a few nuts a couple of times a month. This is à la the 80-10-10 diet. No more constipation, no more badly formed stools, no more foul-smelling feces (in fact, they don't seem to smell at all!)

Your body wants to get rid of the grease and all, but if you keep eating an improper diet then the body will be so busy struggling to make things work, so it won't have much time and energy for the process of detoxification.

  • Your wife might be undergoing a detoxification process and/or she may be eating a vegan diet that is still not really a healthy diet. There's lots of vegan junk food. Raw whole-foods are the healthiest. This means any food item that is edible and tastes well in its raw state, which will pretty much just be fruits and certain vegetables. (I'd be very careful in considering the ingestion of raw meat though!)

  • most vegetable protein are incomplete, they lack some esential aminoacids so you must combine them proplerly to get complete protein .

  • Actually vegetables do not include all the same amino-acids found in meat. Although, you are correct so long as a vegan eats a diverse amount of vegetables they should get all the required building block chemicals to synthesize their own amino-acids within their body.

  • I remember when I went on a 5 month vegan kick I had absolutely no B.O my dad would loko at me like you smell fine what gives? do you put deodorant on everyday? and I'm lke I think I did maybe yesterday or the day before.. before a shower...

  • You go man...nicely done!!

  • I would probably be vegan since, I don't eat any living beings, hate eggs and milk. I even like to eat soy cheeses. I just don't know if I can ever give up honey.

  • um hating animals is the perfect reason to be vegan. i hate pigs so i don't eat pork.

  • Vegan brother can you give me advice I am 99 percent vegan. I drink a can of ensure a day for vitamins. I was wondering what alternitative way can i get vitamins. Ensure is made with milk. I know fruits and vegetable but which one for all vitamins. Plus I am 15 and still need to grow and people tell me that my penis will not grow if i continue living like this. I s this true?

  • Don't worry about your penis. It's your brain you should be concerned with as milk is already affecting your writing.

  • "I know fruits and vegetable but which one for all vitamins."

This is the basic flaw with meat-eater thinking. The simple fact is unless you want some stupid "dietary supplement" you WILL need to eat a diverse range of vegetables, fruits, nuts and grains to get complete vitamins and the essential nutrients required to be healthy.

The good news is it's actually a very enlightening (and fun!) process figuring out just how much YOUR body seems to require due to your own awareness of it.

  • @RightFacts101 hahaha, that was funny, i give you an advise kid, just a hint , " A HORSE NEVER EAT MEAT ". think about it, seriously, have you ever seen his penis?

If u have a small penis, then probably that is big enough cause thats your physic, it has nothing to do with eating at all.

  • but meat tastes good. :S

  • nice video, well presented. :)

  • ive got a book everyday vegetarian,So as from friday the 30th oct iam goin veggy for 8 weeks to see if i can do it.Will let you all know

  • congratulations on your veganism!!

I wish more people would do some reserch on what is that they are eating and what are the consecuences to open their minds just like you did!!

  • the facts are all sound.

take it or leave it meat eaters.

how lucky we are to have the option though.

  • very nice video dude..happy new year 2010.. yea we must love all the living beings including humans with providing unconditional love regardless race color or religion .. i m becoming a vegan 2010 jan 1st :)

try " Metta meditation" it feels really good

  • Great video, good information.

  • great video :)

  • hmmm NAW ill think ima go back to eatin my steak. My MEDIUM-RARE 14 OZ. STEAK MADE FROM A COW! A DEAD ONE! Seriously dont push your vegan crap down my throat. If ya wanna try, give me a few reasons! SERIOUSLY i wanna see what you dumbasses can say. Itll be fun!

  • Comment removed

  • If you don't like what is being said, then just STAY AWAY.

  • Lol, you chose to watch the video, dumbass. Or did he shove the laptop down your throat? Fuckwit.

  • @lightblockade No one needs to give you reason, you're the one you can open yourself to some research and videos like these and studies.

Do what you want, and good luck with it.

  • brilliantly presented!! Thank you for making the video- you're an inspiration.

  • Milk and meat are bad for you: the production of those goods yield ecological externalities upon the environment and economy and may result in (higher) Pigovian taxes for firms, an establishment of FTPs, both of which will result in the firing of farm workers.

Honestly, what are you, a Republican? Learn your economics and help Americans get jobs instead of taxing them out of it.

  • haha its kinda cool this video made me actually take the first step and become vegetarian.

  • Conceivably, maintaining a vegan diet rich with probiotics is the key towards the accelerated evolution of the human digestive system. We could cut down on the 7.5 meters of food processing tube we call the intestines in no time, or so it would seem. Can you imagine a human race which is taller, thinner and requires a meal once every month or so? I can...

  • so my dick will shrink if i eat meat?

and ill fuck better if i dont?

  • My family has a history of heart disease and diabetes as well. I'm really happy about the way I'm eating now.

  • IMO, this is the most credible conveyor of the vegan message I have heard thus far unlike some sites that show us "sexy " vegans who most only chose to become vegans after they finished growing into their bodies. I think a vegan diet should be seriously considered after 25 when it really counts. But when you're still blossoming you need all the good that comes from moderate meat and dairy consumption in your diet. Again this is just my opinion.

  • What about the taste my friend. . . thers nothing like a fillet mignion. . .its why we have canines, its why we are the highest on the food chain....

  • lovestopooge314, you're not the highest on the food chain. Eg lions.

  • Excellent video! Vegans are healthy.

  • Awsome! This is all so true and I love the way you presented it. I'm trying to go vegan (it's hard at restaurants though) and i have found that I'm in a better mood, but that might just be me and because it's summer :)

  • brilliant :)

    vegan for life

  • You look like a sick fuck. You obviously need some beef.

  • yeah most vegans look sick from the lack of amino acids...hens alot of them are skinny and sick looking

  • Im so happy my boyfriend is vegan, he's still going well while lots of other ppl in this age eats viagra for brekkie.

  • I'm near 40 and could fuck a hole through a brick wall.

  • Nice video!

  • I love the part when he's like "On the way down there...you're...impotent" XD

  • if veganism works, just go for it. it has worked with lots of my long life vegan friends. they don't take pills nor any of that shit.

as a meat-eater, I will hafta sadly admit, that there are other insecure meat-eaters out there that vent their anger for no reason. they slander to no ends, and they accuse anything that deems "vegan" of propaganda.

keep pursuing what you believe in.

  • unfermented soy is very bad for you.

  • I know that already, but thanks. Either way it goes protein synthesis is greatly slowed in comparison to Whey protein or any other animal based protein. Please, look it up.

  • @montsyblackmaddona TRUE! Look for Dr. Mercola's video WHY SOYFOODS ARE NOT HEALTHY FOODS or something like that, miso, tempeh and other frermented soy products are fine but tofu and milk are to be avoided

  • lol just because its slower doesnt make it worse

  • No, arguments here, but its not all that efficient for maintaining or gaining muscle. One would have to consume more then what is needed if only using animal based products. I agree ,however, that despite that soy or almond milks and other vegan or vegetarian produces can be a good substitute...if you can afford it and or don't have a extremely active workout schedule. Vegans fail to reach people when they do that self righteous approach toward normal Omnivores like me.

  • soooo many good points here.

    alot of useful info.

ive been vegetarian for like 4 months, and im going to go vegan now.

this video helped me make my descision a lil bit.

    thanks bro!

  • Because I like the taste of meat. But I guess I could cut down a bit... A bit.

  • Its not realy about living longer, its more about the moral beliefs for most vegetarians and vegans. He doesn't look sick, or that diry.

  • I promise you, he is neither sick nor dirty. He's a friend of mine, and also one of the healthiest people I know. If you don't like the vegan thing, I respect that, its cool. we each have our own reasons for choosing to be vegan, vegetarian, or not. me? I'm vegan. but that's my choice. and though my family isn't, they've respected my choice and encouraged it, because this is what I want for myself. cuz you're right, it is about what we want. I want this. and you don't. and its ok. :)

  • If all vegans were like you there would be more of you about! I was trying to be a vegan about 2 years ago, didnt buy any animal products or anything tested on animals, didnt eat anything animal related etc but other vegans were so nasty and rude to me when i asked for advice etc i thought fuck it i dont want to be like them so ended up quitting and now i eat more meat than ever. Oh well,

  • yeah, there's nasty, rude people everywhere, no matter what you do. my nasty, rude people haven't been other vegans though. the only one I talk to at all is this guy here. I've had people give me hell about being vegan though. and then my ex-roommate just has to find something to pick on me for. possibly cuz I won't eat his cooking. oh well... he'll get over it eventually.

whatever you decide, the best of luck to you. :)

  • You should not eat that because of other people, but because it si good ofr you and the animals, and the environement.

I am a vegan now,but please that is no excuse to stop being a vegan.

If you donot want to be like them then don't be rude and be open and loving to all you meet.

That has nothing to do with eating a healthy diet.

Lots of people in this world are snobs, and rude, both meat eaters and vegan.

  • thank you Shelby. I'm not vegan, or vegitarian, but I do like to be informed on both sides of a topic.

  • Right. If by "healthy" you mean overweight or morbidly obese like the majority of Americans who aren't vegan or vegetarian, then yes, he looks "unhealthy."

  • Dude, being a person who is not a vegan I would like to brag that I'm none of those things. But then again I do keep a balanced diet of meats, vegetables and a occasional vitamin. I exercise 4 times weekly around 45 to hour 15 min. You must be speaking about those that eat too much fast food and aren't actively seeking to be healthy. But that would also go for you and your fellow Raw Vegans as well wouldn't it? I've heard from other Vegans that it is possible to end up obese. So what's your (.)

  • You're obfuscating the issue. u can still exercise as u do without the animal fat, which is unnecessary. Excess protein leads to uncontrolled tissue proliferation. There is no shortage of protein in fruit.

Meat is not part of "balanced". If you disagree please provide #s to "balance". If you don't imbalance a diet u don't need to try to "balance" it or try to exercise to compensate for consuming meat.

  • I understand you concern, but I feel that from your writing that your making an exquivacated/circular statement based on your own personal bias. That fact of the matter is that vegans defecate more protein then is synthesized. About .07%. per lb. And it requires a higher budget if you want to be purely organic. There is also the cost of supplimental vitamines/minerals not covered in the vegan diet. Having a balance diet of both fauna and floura lessens that. Enough said. I trim fat.

  • "I feel" as opposed to know. "from your writing" from your misperception "your making an exquivacated/circular statement" False. I quoted your claims of "balance" and asked for UNEQUIVACOL support for your innumeracy/lies. u failed to back it up.. Again what NUMBERS are u "BALANCING"?? Support your myth of balance or retract it.

"vegans defecate more protein then is synthesized. About .07%. per lb"

False. There is no such hypothesis.

"cost" is high for chemotherapy from meat.

  • great work. ONE LOVE

  • "your a good person for informing people about their own health"

I don't see what's so great about him. It's wrong to kill sentient animals because it's wrong to kill sentient animals, not just because saturated fat is unhealthy. I don't see how feeling compassion makes someone a 'hippy',

  • It's wrong to do something because it's wrong to do something?

Sorry, that's not how morals work.

  • great video!

you deserve to live longer your a good person for informing people about their own health, see most people would just say "lifes short why not eat what i want"but you on the other hand....LONG STORY SHORT,YOUR A GOOD GUY!

    -GOD BLESS YOU!

  • Amazing video, I really enjoyed that one. I've been vegan for years as well and it's always great to hear other perspectives. Thanks!!!

  • Nice video, not as militant as many others. No doubt vegetarianism has its benefits, and red meat definitely is unhealthy, but what is the problem with fish? The truth is, that most of you are deficient in B12, iron (for women that is) and essential amino acid. Vegans have a shorter lifespan than people who eat fish as well, so why not combine vegetarinism with fish? Thats what i do. And bill pearl drank milk and ate eggs.

  • I'm also a pescetarian but I'm considering going completely vegan. Fish/seafood is definitely the healthiest meat there is but the benefit of seafood comes from omega three fatty acids which fish obtain either from eating algae or eating other fish that eat algae. In fact, grain fed, factory farmed fish have no omega three fatty acids! If we take algae derived DHA supplements than we'd be getting all of the benefits of fish without the saturated fat.

  • Nice video

  • Thank you for a fine presentation supporting a vegan lifestyle. Indeed we need only look at who is to profit from selling us their "meat". Man lives quite well without it - I'm approaching 4 years and feel great! For health & heart.... Go VEGAN

  • <-- "preachy, fascist, vegan asshole...."

    Whatever.

    Great vid. Keep it up!

    :)

  • Lung cancer mortality correlates with animal fat consumption and with the consumption of animal source protein and calcium. The World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF) judges that "diets high in a variety of vegetables and fruit, and the microconstituents they contain, may prevent 20-33% of cases of lung cancer in both smokers and non-smokers."

Do you want to talk breast cancer? Diabetes? Osteoporosis? I will find you non-biased sources on any of them that will back reducing animal fat consumption.

  • People hate you vegans because you lie, manipulate information, and say things that are not scientifically proven. You said Bill Pearl was vegan, he is not. You said you're going to live 20 years longer than a meat eater. No real doctor will tell you that eating vegan will make you live 20 years longer than a healthy person on a balanced diet. You claimed all animal fats are bad for you, when that is not true. You said bread, vegetables, and pasta are a source of protein, which is not true.

  • shutupfool6969 "People hate you" The hate is within u.

"vegans because you lie, manipulate information, and say things that are not scientifically proven" All false. Plants are the natural food, reflected in health benefits & opposite digestive processes of meat ingestion.

"You said you're going to live 20 years longer than a meat eater" It depends how early you start a natural diet. There is a study showing the longer you go vegetarian, the longer u live.

  • what study?...name it...or does it just exist in your fucked up realtiy.

  • What about the meat industry? They lie too. Get your facts straight.

  • Do you understand why people hate you now. Be vegan. Nobody gives a fuck. I dont. I wont for a second tell you that you cant be healthy. Just dont feed me bullshit lies to justify your lifestyle choice. I have never met one vegetarian that does this. Its only a vegan thing.

  • You obviously don't listen to yourself (eg. youtube name)?

  • Your username is "shutupfool" you are obviously starting from a negative place. You teach highschool and start a conversation by using the "f" word and "hate". That is sad.

There is so much data on how a diet low in animal fats can reduce many health risks. Let's just look at Lung Cancer.
