Ronaldo was good yes. he striked a lot of goals. But the true artists and most influencial architechts of football of our generation are Messi and Ronaldinho. They fight and dribble through whole defenses and at the end they still serve the ball to someone else. Tis is absolutely selfless. After dribbling out so many players, they have the eye to see who is waiting for a ball. This is not only artistic but more important so selfless and good.

He was the best striker.When you look at the video Ronaldo barely dribbled with the ball he simply ran with the ball and overran the defense. On top of that, Ronaldinho and Messi are midfield players. game makers.in contrast to ronaldo they were able to dribble out a whole team and then decide wether to strike a goal on their own or to pass the ball.
